Never received a call. number was on check  that they stole from me.

they electronically stole $399.00 from me using an electronic check. I've never spoke to these people, nor have I received any calls from this number. I don't know how they got my info, nor my check account number. Good thing I notice it in time, because bills are coming up that needs to be payed.

If this happens to you call your bank, and make a police report also. Hope they catch these jerks!!!

The unauthorized attempt to withdraw $399.00 from our account has occurred on three separate occasions (that we caught) since 2008. The specific "company" that makes the withdrawal varies and the description is always nebulous (e.g., "benefits," "for inquiries"). The consistent pieces are that the "check" submitted to the bank or credit union is never signed (is supposedly is "pre-authorized") and, for some reason, is for $399.

I contacted (866) 304-2401 - listed on the "check" in the most recent ripoff attempt. The person answering said that the charge was for enrollment in some kind of "medication benefits." The person responding to my call promised to refund the money in 21 days.  Since I appear to have developed "trust issues" I disputed the charge with my financial institution and have reported the incident to law enforcement rather than waiting for the refund. Unfortunately, I'm learning that this seems to be a common form of theft. We need to make  more people aware of this scam.
