I just got a voicemail from some guy saying my name/number was pulled in a raffle for a new car and 866-312-9553 was the number he left.

I got a call from them yesterday!  They want me to call back because I "won a new car" and since I was on the "do not call list" I should know that this is not a hoax.  Yeah right...I dont think it's a collector since we don't owe anyone any money but I'm not calling them back just the same

On my caller ID it showed up as 708-898-0976 but the number he left was 8766-312-9553 x 243.

Just called them back, initial automated message was for Faithful Marketing. gave extension, 243 and got a recording from Mitchell Communications group. Does not seem to reputable.

how are they getting through to the do not call list?  and leaving a false message.  my caller id showed illinois 708-801-9517

He left a message saying his name was Frederick Jackson from Facebook marketing (may have been Faithful marketing as reported by someone else). The number left was 1-866-312-9553, ext 243. Caller ID read Mitchell Comm 708-248-6528. He said we had won some kind of contest we had entered. Of course no one in my house had entered anything. We did not call back.

I got a call from these people today, telling me my name had been entered in a contest 12-18 months ago.  Well, I don't enter contests but after reading the comments above I decided to call.  They asked me my last name, and I suppose checked my phone number on caller ID.  Then asked to verify that I was over 28 y.o., married, and had a combined income of over $50,000.  When I told them the information was wrong, that I'm not married, they thanked me and said someone must have entered my name not knowing the terms of the contest and that they'd put my name in for the next contest.  I hung up so didn't hear the rest of his spiel.

This is a scam, and from what I read from other posts of people receiving this same spiel from a different number, a pretty widespread one.  Do a google search for Mitchell Communications, and you'll find plenty of complaints of people getting the same exact offer:  You've already won, but you have to come tomorrow at 4 or 6 to some office park in Mansfield, MA to do some scratch-off prize drawing.  The two "people" I heard from were Sharon and Dominic, who even wanted me to call back to let him know what prize I won.

We received a call from 866-312-9553.  The man who left a message said he was from "Faithful Marketing" and that we had entered our name within the past 12 to 18 months.  He said this was his final attempt (only attempt that I am aware of) and that it was not a "cold call".  He said his name was (sounded like) Francis Jackson, but could have been "Fred" Jackson.  I don't have caller ID, but on whocallsme.com the number on other people's ID seem to vary, indicating that this a scammer who switches phones to evade authorities.  Lets keep reporting him and hopefully the law will catch up with him sooner, rather than later.

just to let you know, i had actually won a prize from a contest many many years ago. they called up, asked me which gift i wanted, asked me where i wanted it shipped and i received it in the mail several weeks later. it was a coffee cup from a broadway muscial production company.  

so, to sum up paul cummings ..... scam, scam, scam!

Was tempted to give a call back, but after reading many similar stories have decided to take a pass.

Got a call from a Fred Jackson from "Faithful Marketing?" at 708-248-7366 (Caller ID titled it Prize Card Services). Said not a timeshare nor a telemarketer, knows about the do not call list thus must be legit.  Last attempt (Though I do recall getting a message a few weeks ago which I never followed up on. Which is why I was tempted to return the call. )

I'd love to receive a new car or other great prize, but am pretty sure I'd end up with the coffee mug.

Was just awoken by this caller (left a message on home phone) that appears to be a scam after reading all the posts on here and other sites.  The guy's name was David Shaw from Faithful Marketing and gave the number 866-312-9553 x213 although caller id read Prize Card Services at 708-248-7173.  Said I was one of the top 4 winners for something and I should know it's not a hoax as I'm on the do not call list and they would not call otherwise.  Thanks to all who have posted.  I'm not calling back.

Frederick Jackson from Faithful Marketing called and left the same message a lot of people have already posted..I had entered a contest 12-18 months ago and my name was pulled for a new car.  Then said something like I would get one of the top 4 major prizes, that this was not a hoax, not a time share that I had entered and it was their last attempt to contact me so I should not ignore the message 866-312-9553 x243 was the number left. I am not calling back thanks to seeing that many others have received the same call!

Received call from Greg Jackson (listened twice). Said he was with Faithful Marketing. Same as everyone: we'd entered something and won. Said he was familiar with Do Not Call Registry and wouldn't be calling if he wasn't legit.  Said had to call back at 866-312-9553 ex. 243, but caller ID was 708-248-7181 listed as Prize Crd Srvc.

This has got to be a scam. I will report both numbers to the DO NOT CALL compliant line.

Filed complaint with do not call registery and saved voicemail for future investigation assuming anyone is interested in actually stopping these types of calls.

I just got the same message: verbatim except the man's name was "David Shaw."  Faithful Marketing's website says they have an A- rating with the BBB.  I checked the BBB and the search returned "There are no results for 'faithful marketing'."

Got a message from the same Fredrick Jackson, message was verbatum to Rob's.  Wow, there sure are a lot of "top prize winners".  What a scam, glad I decided to search the number instead of wasting my time calling.

Yeah, same yadda, yadda, yadda from the same guy (Chris).  Can't tell what kind of scam it is, but it has to be a scam.  Shut these people down.
