Why would I want to give you my number when I'm trying to get you to STOP calling it?

I was thinking the same thing,lol,why would i give someone i don't know my home number.this is insane.

Recently received a call from 866-318-6742 and has not idea why. I don't know who they are; all I want is for them to not call back again.

They called my cell phone. I'm on the Do-Not-Call list.

They call because you have a debt with someone and they are trying to collect.  Just because you are on the do not call registry doesn't mean you won't receive calls.  Companies you have done business with and who you owe  money to can forward your information to any company they choose to collect from you.  Many people are not aware of this fact.

...the do not call list pertains to solicitors, not debt collectors. You owe them money they can call you, it's part of that thing you signed that resembles a contract when you first got the card/loan...

Leading Edge Recovery Solutions is a debt collection company operating out of Chicago, Illinois.

Richard Silver automated calls. Everyday, sometimes twice a day. one time it left a message saying to push one to get sent to a representative. been everyday for the past 2 months.

These people are rude and needs to be take cared of. I am asking my local politicianwhat can be done and a lawyer in my state if there is a class law suit that I can file including harrasment against this company.

calling for somone who once had the same phone number! Have asked them to correct this and it still continues. Called the other evening AFTER 9pm....have contacted the FTC and have saved all of the information on the caler ID and my answering machine
for evidence...so keep calling...Im seeing $$$$

How do you know the person owes money [***]? In a perfect world, yes they would call the correct person. I get calls all of the time for other people who do not live at my address or have my phone number.

They have been calling my cell phone for two months asking for George somebody, I have told them there is no one here by that name, I have rejected their calls only to have them leave voicemail even after I changed my voicemail greeting to "There is no George here, stop calling every [***] day", I tried to email at the address listed above and it was returned because it doesn't exist... what the hell else can I do? I don't know any George except my dog, and I know he doesn't  owe any money, for pissake, nor do I! I've had enough of this.

To add to my above rant, I've tried calling them  back only to get a recording telling me they can't take my call right now, but to enter the extension of the person I want to speak to, only to be told the extension is invalid.

This number calls every day and leaves the same message about owing a debt.  Sorry, my credit report is clean and has been for many years and I don't owe anyone anything.  You can keep talking to the answering machine because I don't answer calls from UNAVAILABLE.
