please check this guy out trying scam me out of $250.00

Got a call from a company called TAG.  I was told they were located in NY by the rep that called me about a check I wrote in 2010.  First I would never write a check and not have money to cover it.  This company could not provide any information and said they were trying to settle for half of what the client is requesting.  They have a ton of information on me.  I think it's best to contact the police and FBI on this company.

Same thing, they talked about a payday loan from 2010, first I would never take a payday loan for the amount requested and I know because I check my credit often that there is no outstanding debts.   Fraud all day!

This is a scam company, rude and disrespectful.  These people tell you to shut up and listen to them when you are trying to get information, they do not want you to ask questions.   I have been working very hard to clear all debts and constantly check my credit score.  The bank said there was no funds  basically because the account was closed way before the time they mentioned.    Josh Morgan is the person I spoke too and I think this is a fake name as well.  his extension as 319.  I had to laugh at them to keep from getting angry.   Don't try to scam a broke person, they are not having it!  LOL

Called my cell and said that I had a court date and I owed for a payday loan from 02/2009.  None of information matched my current residence or bank.  Called back and said serve me.  Total scam.

same here..Josh Morgan ext. 319. I made this mistake before and paid and found out that the company was a scam..got me for 361...and put me more behind...so the next time I asked them to send me a certified letter with the information..and was harassed.  scamming broke people is so messed up...and my kids had to pay...because that was my electric bill and food.  These are vultures and a waste for what is being portrayed as a human being

This company called my cell phone and I told them the person they were looking for was unavailable.  I asked if they wanted to leave a message and the rep gave me this number.  I asked if the person would know what this is about he told me pending fraud case.  sounds like a scam.

Got multiple calls for this number, ended up recording one of the calls and sending it over to law enforcement. THey messed with the wrong guy : )

They call me they said he's officer they have all my info
They give file # that I owe money from 2010 wich I don't owe any

said they needed my person information and that me or my attorney needed to call them back.

Called me her name was Mrs Sullivan her number is 866-369-7991 ext 324. They also sent me paperwork to my e-mail to e-sign, but would not tell me who the loan was from. Very rude . I think if I owed someone a loan they could tell me who it was from.

They called my cell phone: I Spoke with Mrs. Davis. They said I owed an online payday loan from 2008.  Only had last 4 of social.  Gave me a name of their "client", but had to look up their number online.  Gave me a file number and wanted to settle for less then 1\3 of the actual alleged debt.  I called the number for the client and they didn't have any unpaid debts for me. I check my credit reports frequently and nothing about this debt shows up.

So glad I read all your posts. I just received a voicemail from this company saying I needed to contact an attorney and I was in serious trouble....phew! Relieved after I read the posts, I was thinking it was a scam.

Got a call at work that i owed a payday loan from 2009 and needed to settle my debt and if i did not than a judgement would be put on my credit. I told daniel a. Archway that i had never gotten a pay day loan from this company and do what ever needs to be done. I knew it was a scam. Some one was also calling my cell but i would never answer. The # was 866-369-7991.

Received several calls from this number, I never answer they just leave the same message. Putting them on my phone block list. SCAMMERS! Please don't give out any personal info.

They had the last numbers of my social security and said it is the attempt to collect for a debt for a payday loan. I don't do BS loans that draw on my checks or bank account. How in God's name did they get my Social security number. That is the scary part.

Thank you all for your helpful posts!  I also received a call from 866-369-7991 from TAG regarding a personal matter.  They left a case number to call back.  This sounds like a scam!  I have blocked the number.

I've also been receiving calls from this #.  Glad to know its a scam!!! Will be adding this to my block #'s

They are calling my elderly mom's home phone leaving threatening messages to me! I have not lived there in 25 years. Also noticed the same number calling my cell phone during work hours twice. No message left on my cell. How the heck do we stop them from calling. All numbers are registered on the do not call list.

leave a message saying that they had a personal matter and I need to get my attorney to contact them. They gave a file number and say I need to call back!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son said you always says cease and dismiss and send in writing. He told me that this is the only way you communicate and if they don't then they are a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
