Caller said name was Scott, left me a message in reference to "my account".  Called back, got another guy (forget name).  Asked me for my last name, and he couldn't find my information.  Said he'd make a note and have Scott call me back since he couldn't find my account info.

Felt very scam-y to me.  I did not call Verizon.

Someone named Josh left a voice mail.  Sounds like some telemarketing BS, or could be a complete phishing type of scam.

This is most likely a scam. My friend recieved 6 calls from this # is one day! And now they are bugging me. Call the US Justice Department

The company Vm says it's 'Wireless, your premium Verizon Retailer', obviously there are trying to deceive/confuse the listener with that name.  Though I did not speak to anyone, I would bet they will try to sell you on running your account through Wireless so they get paid.  Or, try to sell you on some other plan so they get paid. I would never do business with a company that tries to underhandedly trick me, lie to me, decieve, confuse or scare me into calling them--let along switch my plan to reward their bad business practices.

this number originates from the call center of a privately owned premium retailer called Flexicom out of Columbus, Ohio.  Their script leads you to believe there is a problem with your Verizon account.  There is no problem- the are just trying to sell you phones or accessories. The are NOT from Verizon.They are not reputable. Please report them to the FTC, BBB, state attorney generals office, etc...  And don't give them ANY personal information or passwords.

Several calls that went to voicemail stated there was  a question on my account. Checking the
866 number, I discover others have experienced this annoying deception.

I got a vm asking for me to call them back "regarding my Verizon account". When I returned the call and asked him to verify if they were officially part of Verizon or even why he was calling, he said that there were some errors on my account and I was "eligible for upgrades". He said that the company is not officially part of Verizon and is actually a third party retailer called "We Are Wireless". I think they were just trying to people to stop into their local retail store. The weirdest part was that the number the guy originally called from had a (727) area code, which is in Florida.. He said he was calling from Ohio. I said I'd call the Verizon customer service line directly if I needed anything further. Shady!

Received a voicemail call from this number Gordon from Wireless your premium Verizon retailer about my account. He made it sound like he was from Verizon. Assumed it was a scam. Just googled the number and ran across others who have gotten calls from them as well.

Can't believe they are still doing this. Received a message  yesterday from a Shannon from this number stating there is something about my Verizon account. The caller ID said Flexicom and had a 614 area code. Looked suspicious so I Google and found this site. Unbelievable...

I just received the same from Shannon.... what a joke! So glad I researched like you first!!

"Hi this is Shannon with your Verizon Wireless agent." She said, "I NEED you to call me back TODAY." So crazy!!!! Thanks for the previous posts, so I knew not to call back. I did just add some international calling features to my plan and thought maybe this was a follow up, but it was weird the call came from a 614 number, so I googled the toll-free number and saw everyone's posts here... good to listen to your instincts sometimes.

Got a call from Shannon as well. she NEEDS me to call her back today to answer some questions about my account. recieved call from (614) as someone previously said with aCB# 1-866-371-2668. I'm not the primary on the acct. No reason they should contact me. This is obviously fake. Glad I looked up the number first.

Same as above.  "Shannon" had to speak to me today about my verizon account.  Well F*** off Shannon.

I got a call from 614-410-0626 and they left a VM saying "I needed to call them back at 866-371-2668 today". No contact name, no reason for calling etc. I would never call back, but looked here and see it's the same as what you all experienced.  I will for sure not call back. I recently got a new plan through Verizon and it seems as if other people had calls from here after getting a plan adjustment.

Same as the others--got a call from a 614 number but they left an 866 call back number and it was "Jean" wanting to talk about my Verizon account. Didn't call back. Jean can suck it.

I also filed a complaint with the FTC.gov website, referencing both phone numbers.
