- Sharonthey never identify who they are, or why they are calling, just starting asking a lot of questions of my kids who answer the telephone when I'am at work.

- Mike| 1 replyIts Credit One - they will keep calling and calling and calling. They even called after I made a payment online! I should have canceled this card ages ago. The fees are outrageous they even charge you for making a payment online - all this hassle for a $200 credit limit... not worth it.

- LittlewhizkidOne more thing, i just called back the number and without punching in any information i waited until a live person came on. I then requested "a written copy of your do-not-call policy". I just found out they can be fined $500 if they don't send it. Fortunately I have a PO Box which is where i asked for the copy to be sent.
By the way, the lady on the other end was very nice but she did ask for my name and phone number, which i did not provide. when she said she needed my phone number to remove me from their list I told her no, that all of the calls they are making are illegal. In fact, i told her that if i received any more calls i was keeping track so I could collect $500 for each one.- Caller: Credit one
- joei got the same call 866 372 2508 and i am filing a formal complaint today.
- littlewhizkidFill out a Form 1088 from the FCC (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm), it only takes a few minutes and it may do some good. I called Credit One three times yesterday trying to get off their list, to no avail. My next step is going to Small Claims Court to see if I can in fact get some satisfaction from these idiots.
Oh, and for the record, I do not now or ever have had an account with Credit One so there is absolutely no reason for them to be calling me.- Caller: Credit One

- dgThey called 10 times today. No message. We don't answer numbers we don't recognize. Never had any dealings with Credit One or any of the other cards mentioned.
Thanks to Littlewhizkid for the info. Filed FCC report. Time to go to court. - dg| 1 replyThey called 10 times today. No message. We don't answer numbers we don't recognize. Never had any dealings with Credit One or any of the other cards mentioned.
Thanks to Littlewhizkid for the info. Filed FCC report. Time to go to court. - CathyGood luck to all of you. According to my attorney, Congress passed a law wherein when you sue a bank, you must also name as a party to that lawsuit the bank's designated person. That's where we're at. We're attempting to ascertain the name of Credit One's designated person....a task not to be confused with pulling teeth out of a wide-awake grizzly bear, which is infinitely easier than getting any information whatsoever out of Credit One.

- Sojourner TruthI am late with my Credit One Bank payment, so here we go. I won't speak to these people. They take jobs away from American call center employees. It's great that this website is here so I can assign silent ringtones to these dozens of numbers when they call me. I literally get between 13-20 calls an hour from collection agencies. Do they really think that having some twerp in India auto-dial my cell phone is going to make my next bi-monthly paycheck come any faster? There's a special place in hell reserved for these banks.

- JasonThey are annoying as hell but sad to say there is not much anybody can do about it. If you dont pick up the phone than its not considered a call. Pick up the first call in the morning and tell them their a bunch of idiots. As long as you spoke to someone it will stop the calls for day. Although technically there is a thin line. The Fair Debt Laws only apply to third party debt collectors. Credit One keep there collections in house therefore technically they dont have to go by Fair Debt Laws.If you dont owe them then you can sue for harrassment (not under the Fair Debt Laws) If someone owes you money you can harrass the hell out of them until its paid. Call the State of Texas deparment that enforces Fair Debt Laws and all your going to get is a man that says well really there not laws there more like guidelines. Theres nothing you can do pay your bills, declare bankruptcy, consolidate your debts. It is not going to stop !!! They do it before you even owe thats what ticked me off. Prices of having bad credit....
