Bill me Later / a company that lets you buy now and pay later

Bill-Me-Later scam. Said I had an $11 charge at a Walmart 6 months ago and they never got the money. I only used it on internet, and closed the account months ago by paying them off. They fool you into signing a monthly fee and get you for penalties for not paying it. Stay away from them.

Same thing with me.
Last spring they tricked me into paying by Bill Me Later as I wanted to use Paypal.
I got a bill in the mail that gave me 5 days to pay. I paid on line that day the entire amount of $40.00.
I kept getting a Bill for that amount plus $39.00 and interest.  I called them and they said they had no record of receipt.  I sent them proof, only if they would call me and tell me that this was cleared up.NEVER got the call.
7 months later,I still am gettisng billed for $250.00.
They are bad and deceptive.

Same. I payed all of my debt, and have proof. Some fu cking automated voice saying my payment is over 100 days due and theres a fine or whatever

They call me as many as 5 times a day its utterly annoying its like I know I owe you but I'm unemployed and out of unemployment sorry. Guess they expect us to pay them by robbing a bank. Sorry not going to do something stupid like that! Bill Me Later collection department got my cell phone number when I didn't even give it to them that alone should be against the law! They call my home and my cell at least 5 times a day!

I also was tricked into this scam.  I tried to pay thru PayPal, but ended up owing this company instead.  They keep sending bills and calling several times a day, land line and cell.  They now have my $30 dollar invoice up to a few hundred dollars now.  I did in fact try to pay them when it came due, but the site wouldn't allow me, so I called several times to no avail.  The operators had no idea how to remedy my situation, but then maybe they didn't want to so the company could continue to rack up late fees and penalties!!!  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!

I looked at your posts first.  Figure I will call.  The callback number is 888-334-6260, they see who I am on caller ID.  It is bill me later.  I refused to give them any identifying info, why would I do that with a company I never use their service. guy says he cannot help me without me giving them info like my mother's maiden name (come on!).  So I told him have a nice day.

I have lost my job.  I have always paid but now I need a break.  This company keeps calling.  I explained my situation and that I really would like to pay them but that right now I need to pay the power and keep the groceries.  Their response - couldn't you put this on another credit card.  When I said no - they just kept on. Thankfully I have a reject feature on the cell phone.

They keep calling me, no message, I talked to someone with them last week & made a promise to pay, she actually suggested I borrow money from a family member to pay them.  I've been on short-term disability after a car wreck & I think rent, utilities & food are kind of more important at the moment

I keep getting a call from "Bill Me Later" but when I call the actual bill me later customer service line, it says I am not a bill me later customer.

I got a call from that number, too.  I have no idea why they call me b/c my acct is up to date.  Also, I have a collection of numbers they use which as as follows:

All these numbers belong to BillMeLater when I googled them.  I don't answer calls from "unknown", "number withheld", etc.  b/c most of these are telemarketers or other nuisance or harassment calls.  I wish there was anything that can be done about these. All these numbers are in my Reject list and I don't hear the phone ring

I have never at any time used this company.  I have never opened an account with these people.  I use my Paypal account and pay all my orders with that.  And I only use Paypal to buy stuff on Ebay.  Have no idea why these idiots call me.

Only a fool of the highest order will fall for a scam like this !!. IGNORE THEM.

Yes, A scam number to try and get you to pay something you don't owe.. since if you have not figured it out, there is not 'money' people work for slips of paper (FRN's) which are IOU's, as they are only worth something if the person you are giving them to accept them. Reason being because if you bring a pile of FRN's into the Fed bank and ask to exchange for gold, they would laugh at you and throw you and your IOU's out..
