I have been getting multiple calls from this company for the past month and the call at all hours and up to 5 times per day.  They NEVER leave a message.  I have caller ID and don't answer.  I don't know why they keep calling because I don't have any accounts that I owe money on.  This is getting very frustrating.  Next time they call I'm considering yelling at them and telling them to stop calling me and that I'm on the do not call list and they are breaking federal law.  Grrrr!!!!!!!!!!

Repeated calls from 866-380-8783.  Seven days a week, all hours. How can they be stopped?

This number keeps calling and asking for a Linda.
I finally told them that they keep calling this number for Linda and there is no body by that name that lives here and would they please stop calling.
When will this stop ? Other reports on Google say that this number is a debt collection agency in Minn. called Northland Group. We owe no one anything so there is no reason to call us.

Telephone number 866-380-8783 keeps calling me without leaving a message. I do not pick up random numbers.

This is probably a sears credit collection service or Lakeside catalog collection agency. Cheap collection agency whose tactic is to harass.

This is the Northland Group and they apparently have a great rating on the BBB site...we should all rally to change that...post a complaint here:

getting REAL TIRED of this # calling us at all times of the day & night.

I finally answered a call from this number and an automated message told me to hold for a representative for a very important message about my account. Then it sounded like someone came on the line but they just ended the call without saying a word.
The name of the company was never mentioned.

I used to be a telemarketer and if you are one you have to leave a number at the end of the call by law.  telemarketers cant just hang up on you either but this representive did.  I believe this number is some sort of collections.  If they are not they are breaking the law you can record the call and enter your number in the do not call registry.  I'm trying to get to they bottom of this number and they are very sneaky.  You get 500 dollars for catching them if they are telemarketers by recording.  I talked to a guy who knew the law and would sit at home and wait for telemarketers to slip up and collect.

ok the website for them is www.payments2northland.com they are debt collections.  I just got off the phone with them and they are very rude and have caller Id so they know who you are right off the line.  I just told them they were misleading on giving out information on what type business they were they put me on hold and that website is what I got.  So they are debt collections they follow a different set of laws but if they call alot thats harassment and consider against the law even for debt collections.

I get calls from this number stating that they have an important message about my account and they wouldn't say who it was. I called and it said Focus Recievable.  They call 5-6 times a day starting at 7 am ending at 9 pm EVERY day.

I get calls from them also looking for someone with a similar name.
They have been told that I am not that person and say they will
take my number off the call list.  Then they start calling again month or so later.  I have also filed a complaint with the St Paul BBB today.

Left message on answering machine. Now if I can just teach my answering machine to hang up.

This number calls me frequently I just googled it and was happy to see all your comments now I dont feel so stalked!  I'm saving the number as stalkers so that next time they call I'll know its them. ;)

They keep calling my cell phone.  All hours of the day and do not leave a message.  I picked up one time and the call just ended.

I have been getting calls from this number for several weeks. I never answer them - I never answer any numbers I don't know. It has become a problem since they have started calling me early in the morning. I have saved the calls that were made before 8am (I live in California where that's illegal). Here are the two early calls:

I'm interested in a class action lawsuit - collection agency's are horrible company's that break the law all the time. I'm sick of it!!

Just bought a house, where NOTHING bad showed up on my credit report. Now I have this Northland Group calling me saying I owe them money!!!!
Some scam?  They call all the time!!!  What can good people do about this?!?!!

This company calls continually and is very annoying. I have an option on my cell phone to add to a blocked number list. I like many of the above complaints do not answer any calls from numbers I do not know (local or not). If they would leave a message or send me a letter in regards to what they want I might entertain them by responding.

I keep getting the same call.  If you are ________press nine now. We have an important message for _______. If you are not __________hang up now.  Ugh if its so dang important have a real person call me!!

Have received repeated calls from this number. I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know. Caller unknown. Caller Id shows only the number.
