I get these calls from this number every day.  They call to my business number.  They are very annoying.  When I pick up no one is there so I just hang up.

Got more info for you.  This is a national sleazebag broker for credit card processing.  They have outside commission salesweasels in some major metro areas and anyone can sign up on their website to be a "sales agent."  When William first called, he said he got my number from a friend (and he named a correct friend) and made it sound like he was wanting to hire my company to do some work for him.  I entered that into the contact notes in my phone to remember to thank Wesley.  When I called back to pursue the business, it turned out that they just wanted to "learn more about" my business and see how they could "help maximize our advantages in the marketplace" or some such drivel.

The one who called me back today, Mike, tried hard to get an appointment at our office but finally agreed to meet me at a local coffee chain to discuss how they could sell me something, no more pretense about wanting my help, this is pure sales slime.  So after the country-dumb trick of agreeing to meet him, I asked how they heard about us.  Mike claimed they only ever take contact info from DNB, no mention of my friend Wesley.

Oddly enough I don't intend to attend the meeting.  Hey, if you waste my cell minutes, I can waste your gas.  [***]. I wonder how many appointments he'll let me reschedule before he figures it out.

They call at least twice a week and ask to speak to the owner.

Calls company phone number at least 3 times a week. I answered once and no one said anything.  I refuse to answer it when I see it on caller i.d. Very annyoing.

I get the same guy asking to speak to the owner.

Scum.  They get your number off of State directories of businesses which are illegal to use for spamming.  They will not remove you from their database.  If you say anything they are incredibly rude.

Do not buy anything from them, ever.

Caller never leaves a message.  I will not answer a call when I don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message.  I have a pc based answer machine that allows me to set up a different greeting for each caller.  I have given these folks plenty of time to leave a message.  I have moved them MY black list which zaps their call on the first ring.

When I answered my home phone with a simple "hello," the dude on the other end said "Do you accept mastercard?"  I said "No."  And he said "Just cash, then?"  and I said "You've got the wrong number."  He apologized and hung up. Was he fishing for me to say "yes" so that he could record it and use it against me?

Received a call from this number. They did not leave any message.
