This number calls at all different times of day, I haven't answered yet because I can't find who it is.  The closest I have found on the web is this http://www.tndatabase.com/866/397/80/ however it does not say who it is.

I have received two calls today from this number but when i answer it there is noone there.
Just thought i would do a google search and see who it is.

IGA assurance is the 1-866-397-8093 i called them back to see what would happen

the number says AIG insurance.. when i hit #1 to be removed from the calling list as an option the call drops.. when I pick up the call it disconnects as well

Just got it calling again and answered.  She said she's calling for Protocol Inc. on behalf of AIG Insurance.  Asked to take me off the list and stop calling and I hung up.

I received a call from this number a little while ago and they never left a message, and there was no caller ID name. I called it back and it said it was AIG Assurance, I chose the option to take me off their calling list, so hopefully that helps.

I sent a message into them as I have removed my name many times and am still getting calls all times of the day.
I have threatened harrassment charges on them if they do not quit and won a case not so long ago with Bell Canada.  There is something you can do, just depends how much you want it gone.

I phoned 1416-596-3900, spoke with AIG / Lawyer named Carl.
I explained my case of how my number wasn't being removed from the list, and gave him the number from which the calls were coming from.
I was given his assurance that he would look into removing me from the list.

Will see how long that lasts.

This number calls me about 4 times a day and has been doing so for about 4 weeks now. I have only answered once and when I answered the woman said she was for AIG insurance and then all of a sudden she said "I can see you are busy I will call another time" and then she hung up. I don't understand why she would do that. It is clearly a scam. They never leave messages and I will never answer for them ever again. It is good to know that the option to be removed from their caller list is there but it sucks knowing that they won't remove your number anyway.

I received a call today - The women said she was from BMO Insurance. The caller said it's insurance for women only. She said she would transfer the call to her agent and they would expplain the details further. A package would be sent in the mail and I would have one month to deceide. When she tried transfering the call I was disconected and she came back on the line and said she would call back in a few minutes. I have not received the 2nd call. I think it's possibly a scam.

I recieve a call about three times a day from this number and sometimes it says it rogers calling with a speacial promotion offer then I get dissconected. Also from this same number I have had a women saying that its BMO calling with a speacial offer and then the same thing, it gets disconected. I called this number back many times and took my number off the calling list but they still call. And the thing is if they are calling to ofer me some sort of insurance for BMO wouldn't I need to have an account with them? Which I don't?
It's a scam.

I recieved a call from this number today. Stating they were from BMO insurance will a special offer. I called back and asked to be removed from their calling list and was infomed it could take upto 30 days to be removed.

I have been getting calls from this number for a couple weeks now. Most of the time it's missed calls because they call my cell phone when I'm at work, but I talked to a representative on 2 occassions. It's BMO offering me life insurance, which I already have, and I told them 2 times already that I'm not interested. THEY KEEP CALLING! If you call them back, it's an answering machine that responds. They allow you to put your phone number on the "do not call" list, but they inform you that it takes up to 30 days to remove your number. MAKE IT STOP!

they call me over 4 times a day and everytime i pickup, it disconnects. i called back and it said it was BMO life insurance (automated service/msg) i entered my number to be removed from the call list and it also told me it will be processed in 30 days......

We keep getting phone calls from this number. Never leaves messages. We have just call blocked this phone number today!!

i entered a contest online, and i put my number down thinking if i won the'd call me, i believe this is the reason for me getting these calls.  dont put your number on these kinds of things just your a second email addrress you use. i just asked them if they had a do not call list, and they said they did, so i told them to put me on it and stop calling :).

they've been calling me for 2 weeks at home. every day. atleast once. never leave messages. i decided to pick it up today and she said it was for women's only insurance. asked me if i was between the ages of 18 and 45. i told her i'm not interested, please do not call back, thanks, and hung up... we'll see what happens. i am pretty sure they have called and i have picked up in the past and no one was there...
