constant calling with no messages

These people are from some cancer organization. They call all the time.

This time I answered, and the people who they were calling for weren't home so I asked I could take a message but they will not leave a message. They just say they'll call back at another time.

They're rude when you try to get them to stay on the phone to ask them why they call, because they're so eager to hang up and bug other people.
I said "The people you are calling for don't take these calls so can you please remove us from your list". He simply said "OK, Have a nice day." I was polite, but he was rude. I don't know if he even heard me before he hung up.

Hopefully they stop calling.

these a holes call at all times of day and night       cancer group?  i wouldnt give them one friggin cent for their stupid group         i hope they all GET cancer    the way i feel now    i hate them  they disrupt my life all day and night long ..............may they all croak I hope they read this whoever they are, and fall off a cliff into molasses

Keeps calling ...no answer. What's up with that???

These people have been calling many times a day. I don't take calls from 866 numbers, especially when they come up as unknown callers. When they get my machine they hang up. I get curious when they keep calling and I do a quick online search to see who they are. But people, come on. How can an unsolicited phone call "ruin your life" or provoke you to such passionate hatred? It's just some poor dumb slob who will probably only keep this lousy low-paying job for a couple of weeks because it's no fun for them either. Why do you think telemarketers are always recruiting?
This is why we have caller ID and an off switch on the ringer. And these cool web sites where you can even satisfy your curiosity about just who the silly twit is who keeps calling. There's no need to upset yourself, really.

and it isnt just one unsolicited phone call that upsets me or us.....it is a string of them every single day and night              and you can get rid of my comments all you want but i will just get angrier and more expressive each time until your company stops     ruthless!

Same as other's comments.  Constant calls all times of the day/evening/weekends.  When I call the number back on the caller id a recording says no one is available to take your call.  Even when someone had just called from there.   Tonight my son answered the phone.  I told him to tell them to call back in a little bit, that I was in the middle of a movie, which was true.  The person told him that it was against the law to tell stories.  Real nice.

They called me, I told them I'm on the Do Not Call List and they said they are a non-profit so that doesn't apply to them.

This is a rogue organization called the "Cancer Fund of America". Why do I call them "rogue"? See the report and comments posted on charitynavigator.org. I am trying to find a way to put them behind bars...I am just THAT irritated by their unending stream of unsolicited calls.

Hey, Boo,  I can see you are really upset.  These nuisance callers upset me as much as you.  But, maybe you and "can't take it anymore could keep the conversation out of the gutter.

They just called me yesterday, by the way.  He asked for my wife by name.  I just cut the guy off and said we're not interested and hung up on him when he kept talking.  Also, thanks to Taarick for the "Cancer Fund of America" info.  When I report this to the FCC "No Call List" violation site, I'll add that fact.  Fight the good fight, folks!  ☺

I have a total of 14 calls from 866-401-1569 in the past week.  I have been registered on the do not call list for over 30 days.  Therefore, this person is in violation of the do not call list

Yes they are still at it 3 calls today so far.

Ah yea, this number has been calling my house for the last month or so, usually at least 4 - 6 times a day. Good to see I'm not the only one that's annoyed by it.... freakin' frankensteins.
