This is the Knights of Columbus insurance confirmation number for new policy verifications.

Received a call from this number.  Appears to be a central service for insurance reviews.  In this case, the call was valid as I recently applied for insurance and the caller identified himself as being with State Farm, my agent.

If you recently fill for life insurance they call u after medical check up to a small interview about u lifestyle.

Caller identified herself as working for State Farm Life insurance.  I did not apply for any coverage.  The # she told me to call back at was 877-222-1754. Google says that call # is for State Farm International.   Don't mess with anything international.

This is Exam1 which is a paramedical company hired by insurance companies to complete a brief telephone interview or 'tele-underwriting' call, prior to issuing life insurance on behalf of the life insurance company. If you applied for life insurance, you'll want to take this call, or your policy cannot be issued.

This is a follow up for Life Insurance Applications by Lincoln Benefit Life Ins. Company.  They might identify themselves as part of the agent/company that signed you up, for example Allstate, State Farm etc..

They called my workplace, but when I answered, no one was there.  

This can't be legit if they are saying that they are from all of these different insurance companies . Sounds like a pfishing expedition to me

Left message saying they needed to verify some information related to a recent life insurance application with State Farm.  Called them back and told them I didn't initiate any policy with State Farm.  They looked up my phone number and determined it was attached to a totally different person and must have been outdated or a mistake.  They removed my number from the record.

This is a legit number. This number was given to me my by State Farm agent to call to perform the underwriting service and interview for my life insurance. If you recently signed up for insurance, this is correct. If not, they most likely simply got the wrong telephone number. For the people saying it is not legit because of multiple insurance agencies, you do not understand how this works. It's not uncommon for multiple agencies to use the same company for conducting health/lifestyle interviews for your life insurance policy.

This may be a legit number, but i did NOT apply for life insurance! The caller's message was garbled and incomplete. It really sounded scam-ish to me.

This is a generic number for Exam One. If you apply for insurance we will call and ask you medical questions. The number is NOT a scam. It is a legit company and handling legal business for life insurance

I got a call from this number and it was an underwriting company representing state farm insurance company as I am applying for new life insurance.

Got a call, did not answer. Voice mail left was silent. Did not apply for any insurance.
