They are not a legitimate company. Legal Prevention Services.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD NUMBER.
They will wipe out your bank account.

This lady called me stating I have until 2 to return her call 866-413-291. ALSO LEFT A CASE NUMBER

02/13/2015 This is a scam. They called me multiple times.  I have contacted authorities regarding their attempts to scam me. They claimed i owed a credit card from 2007.  The most hilarious part is that the company they said I opened a card with is a company that if it was the last store open, I would NEVER do business with them.... BEWARE!!!! and if they contact you, they have enough personal information that they can and likely will attempt fraud.  So as a precaution, put a fraud alert  on your credit reports....

Legal prevention services is a scan!!!! They do have all your infomation. So it easy to believe you might have a old balance. They try an collect on debts 7 years and older. I spoke with my lawyer and it is illegal for any company to collect on a debt greater that 7 years. Thats why it only stays on your credit report for upto 7 years. If your unsure, please contact a lawyer and they explain it to you. Please do not give them your info. Refuns their questions and hang up the phone!!!!!
