It's a "satisfaction survey" conducted after a doctor's visit.  I get this after  someone in our household visits our family doctor.

I am receiving 3 or 4 calls daily from this number. Since I don't recognize the number, I haven't answered.

Saw my doctor yesterday and found out their practice was purchased by Medical Edge.  Got my first call from them today.  It was a computer that left part of a voice-mail.  Definitely a violation of my HIPAA rights.

Partial Auto-dial message to call 866 418 5131.  I called the number and it asks for your phone # and your date of birth.  It did not recognized my number but Medical Edge has billed me on occasion and I have had to talk to an agent to clear up any charges.  I actually owed nothing and today I got another bill from the same medical edge with FINAL WARNING written on it and it claimed I owed money for a doctor to discharge me from the hospital in February.  I have not responded to the bill as it looked odd.  My oncologists office told me they have just picked up Medical Edge so many people may start getting bills as it is cheaper than doing it themselves.  

If you have problems with this service CALL YOUR DOCTOR AND COMPLAIN.  THEY SHOULD TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE SHARING YOUR MEDICAL INFORMATION WITH A BILLING AGENCY AND IT IS COLD CALLING ASKING PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH OUT CLEARLY IDENTIFYING THEMSELVES.  WE DON'T DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY.  I HAVE BLOCKED THEIR NUMBER.

I don't know how they got my cell phone number, but I have two missed calls today, one at 11:47 AM and one at 6:47 PM. No other information other than the phone number.

I saw a previous report at this site that Medical Edge took over Arlington Cancer Center in Texas. If they are a billing service...I do not want to share any of my health information with them. My bill is paid in full at the time of the visit. They have no right to continue calling me for any kind of survey. If they want a survey they can hand me a printed survey at the time of my visit - I will choose to answer or not answer their questions at that time.

They call at least once a week and just leave a number....not gonna answer that call.
