Just received a call on my cell phone from this number 5/12/11 8:55 PM. Returned call but got a busy signal.

Just received a call from this number, supposedly the fraud dept. of HBSC bank.  It asked me to supply my 16-digit credit card number but I don't have a card from their bank!  I suspect this is a fraudulent attempt to mine credit card information from unsuspecting people.  BEWARE!

recieved call from this number, unable to catch source, asked to press 1 for connection to fraud department. Did not call. Thought is was suspicious. Did reverse check and found these postings. BE Warned! B

same as above. they are fishing for info. definitely a  fraud scam.

Received a phone call supposedly from HSBC fraud department on my cell phone asking for my 16-digit credit card account number.  I do not have an HSBC credit card.  I called HSBC.   They have no knowledge of that phone number, they did not try to contact me and they are  now investigating the origin of the call.  My son, who shares the same given name also received the same phone call on his cell phone. We suspect they are phishing for information.

This phone number will call saying it is HSBC and ask for your card #. DO NOT PUT IT IN. It is a phishing scam to steal your cc information. I assume it has to do with the Playstation Network Hack. I called HSBC and they said that it was a scam and they have been getting a lot of calls about it.

Received a call from this number at 4am, 15, May. When i called back in the morning it said it is not a working number.

Got a call from this number on Saturday. The recording said it was from HSBC. This is not true do not be fooled and give away your information. If you already have call HSBC and report it.

I got a call from this number and could not understand who was calling. They said my debit card had been "locked". I don't have a debit card so of course won't return the call. I also got an email from HSBC bank, supposedly wanting me to update my info. Beware of both!
