when i called back this number all it said was "thank you for calling online" what does that mean?

Left 4 messages from "The Art Institute of Pittsburgh" for "Jesse Patterson".  No Jesse here.  Sure sounds like a collection call to me.

Asked to return call to 877-872-8869 and 866-843-5914.

message from someone with a very thick accent telling me they have my SSN and know my friends????

This number called me and left a message.  It was my academic counselor from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh just calling to make sure my classes were going well.

i keep gettn calls from this number and i dont answer cuz i dont know who it is and they never leave a voice message!

It's a scam and from this number as well 480-327-1200........stop calling me and my cell. I do not know who or what you are or what you want and I do not want to get these calls any more!!!!!!!

Telemarketers calling to ask about your education from some dumb survey online. They make calls for colleges, etc. then someone at this number calls you back.; They use mass call phones so it isn't even clear.  I finally had to quit answering my phone but left a message on my cell asking them not to call again.
In my case I was offered a subway sandwich for "answering a survey" then at the end of the survey there was an agreement that you'd miss if you didn't watch carefully that you will pay $10 a month to belong to the discount place. They pass your information on to spammers. Another number to watch for is 877-410-8829

I had another call offering a credit card. I had put in the survey that I did not own one so they wouldn't try to get it. The lesson is that no sandwich is worth a million calls. A "free subway sandwich" that cost $10 a month to get.

2 calls every business day, 1 in the morning between 9 and 10 EST, and then another between 2 and 3 EST. called back.... on hold for 10 minutes with nothing but "Please hold for the next available operator. ....still holding ill post more once the conversation actually starts. UGH

I have had my phone number for 3 years without ever changing it.  I have also never filled out any survey for any free sandwich or anything else for that matter.  I still get a call for someone named Larry.  Remember, I have had this number for 3 years and have never gotten a call from them before until now.  And my number is a Kansas number but I live in Arizona and I know this caller is not from Arizona so it's unlikely they just got my number from anything I filled out since I NEVER fill anything out other than job applications on the company site.  I have only 2 explanations.  Either someone gave my number instead of theirs or my number was obtained by some other means I'm not aware of.

Don't put your number online dummy!

Also, its an education number...You applied for a job, or a grant, or put your phone number in...So its YOUR responsibility to tell them, nicely, to remove you from the list.

the Art Institute online has a location in Phoenix, along with University of Phoenix, Caplan, Grand canyon, etc.

If you applied for a job on any job site, you most likely selected something about having an interest in school...OR the job does not hire people without degrees and you were put in the pool for seeking education.

I don't know how these people got my number but they won't stop calling me and when I tried to call back it said that the number was no longer in service.

It is from COMCAST.  Finally one time when I was dialing back someone answered and it was comcast.  Usually no one answers when you try to call back because it is those ROBOcalls.

This number has called and i keep telling them to take me off the list! They have yet to do so and I told them almost a month ago! So i just dont answer them!!!!! Oh and if you have verizon you can block them for a few weeks! thats what im going to do!
