I talked to these people and they told me they were with the NRA.  They asked to speak to my ex-daughter-n-law.
I told them that she doesn't live here and what did they want with her.  The man said he needed to talk to her about a credit card debit that she owed.  I asked what did the National Rifle Association have to do with bad credit card debit.  He told me that NRA stands for National Recovery Associates (a debt collection agency).  He asked to leave a message for her.  I told him that I had not seen her or talked to her in over 8 years and I did not know how to get in touch with her.  He still wanted to leave a message for her.  I asked him was he crazy or just an idiot?  Then I hung up the phone.

You really want to get this company to stop calling you! 1-800-672-3888 is their call back number! The National Rifle Association can only accept calls between the hours of 9am-5pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! No offense, but this company the National Rifle Association employees who make such door to door solicitation calls after hours as well as nights and weekends are jerks! The only way to handle them if you should get anymore of these ridiculous door to door calls over the telephone, put your foot down and tell them off! Finally enough if their random number 866-426-3257 is really getting out of control on calling you just to get you on your toes, tell them that they're out of line and you're not going to take their random solicitation calls anymore and that can settle these random solicitation calls for good!

Called my office phone today at 5:24. Caller ID is "Unavailable" so I did not answer. No message was left.

If this is a collection agency, they are scum and should not be trusted. I still have landlines for my home and my office that are in my name. I often get calls from collection scum who break the law by cold calling me because I share a last name with someone they are looking to find or has a similar name to mine. I do not owe a dime to anyone, so I know they are not calling for me but. This is a tactic to threaten and scare individuals and try to get people to give out personal information for relatives if the person called is not the person with debt. None of my relatives owe anyone either, so I know immediately that any call of this nature is a scumbag, law breaking A**hole.

Do not answer this number and, if you do answer without thinking about it, do not give them any information. They are just looking to harass people and do not care about the law or how much aggravation they cause to individuals.

Answered the phone with the intention of instantly blocking them when I discovered who they were. However, they robbed me of the pleasure  when the line went dead as soon as I answered.  Nevertheless, I am blocking then.  We get calls occasionally for a previous owner of our home number who apparently has lots of unresolved debts.

NRA calls every day.  I have blocked several of their numbers.  They just use another number.

This number calls about 10 times per day.  They never leave a message, and I do not answer numbers I do not know.  It is becoming a nuisance.

Don't call my number

Tell them what they are doing is illegal and harassment and you will call the Better Business Bureau and/or the attorney General's Office. They don't want to appear intimidated by you, so they'll continue threatening regardless because they get a monetary percentage from information they acquire so they are paid to be aggressive. Just hang up.

Always hangs up after call answered.

Annoying calls, No answer

Call from this number was not answered and they left no voice message. Based on the feedback here, I will be blocking the number.

They are the "NRA" - not the one you think, it stands for National Recovery Associates. They are a scammer/debt collection agency.
