These people call 3 times a day everyday, I picked up just now, some1 said something inaudible and hung up, timer on my phone, to say how long the call goes on for, doesnt stop tho, so its like we are connected, but they hung up. It was weird.

this is a call centre that rogers hires as a cheap telemarketing tool.

they have called us on several occasions, the last call was placed at 9pm, and the person speaking from telco does not communicate properly and hangs up in mid conversation. unprofessional.

the first time we got this call i thought it was a fraud looking for additional information.

rogers should think twice about how they conduct their business, not only are they horrible with their customer service but they are cornering the market and really don't give a damn about their customers or client service, hence hiring a third rate telemarketing agency to conduct their business.

why do i want to keep paying rogers my hard earned money every month?

Just got a call from that number.  Nobody said anything; after a few moments I got the busy signal. When I try calling the number back, all I get is the busy signal.
If I ever get a hold of them, I'm going to report them to the authorities, because I keep getting these calls, but nobody says anything.  I think that would qualify as harassment.

I am in British Columbia, Canada. I tried to do a reverse search on Canada.com  ( Find it ). No luck. After getting calls from this  1-866-435-7960, 2 or three times every second or third day. I am fed up with them. I use to have my Home phone with Rogers and switched to Shaw Digital. I contacted my friend in Texas thinking that maybe she would be able to find out from the International way and she came back saying that it showed Rogers Telemarketer, but not city it was from. I contacted Shaw this morning and told them my problem. He said that he can't find who they are, but if I wanted to put a block on that number to press *60 and follow the instructions. The other party, when they call will get a message telling them that their number was blocked. I also told him, if there is no one at the other end because it's automated, Rogers won't get that message. He said, yeah but, your phone won't ring...that's true. Anyhow, I sent Rogers an email this morning and should get an answer ( I hope ) within 24 hours...we'll see !!! It is harrassment. They should be listed with the operator...

i got the call too... u can call the no. and remove from the list!

This number has called my house four times today alone! I called it back and it had a recording where I could punch in my phone number and it would be removed from their list. I did this only to have them call back an hour later. I just called it back again an left a voicemail message telling them to take my number off their list. This has got to be the most annoying phone harrassment I have ever received!

Me too.  Someone needs to take these guys down.

I have been called about 15 times by 866 447 65xx, there have been various suffixes, trying to sell and/or change my Rogers plan. When I asked them to stop calling I suddenly got 4-5 calls in a row! Punishment for asking them to stop I suppose.

Rogers Sucks! these marketing practices are [***]. Rogers should be ashamed of themselves.

1 866-435-7960 -- they are calling me everyday! Even on the weekend...

866-435-7960 started calling me last week, and every day since. I don't answer any numbers i don't recognize. If it is Rogers, and I'm one of their customers, they are going to get blasted. I'm on their do not contact list so the Canadian Marketing Association will get an email from me about this, as it is against the law to solicit anyone who has asked not to be called or emailed by telemarketers.

They have been calling me for months.  I finally was home to answer.  I think it is Rogers (although call display doesn't have a number).  He gave me false information about services to force me to take a change they have been pushing.  He seemed to have all my info correct.  (I was extremely leary) But I phoned Rogers afterward.  The woman I spoke to has gotten a lot of calls about this number and the telemarketers.  Maybe with enough complaints, Rogers will stop this as an option to get business.  People are not comfortable giving out info over the phone to someone who calls them and Rogers should know that.

I reported a call from 866-435-7960. A few minutes later, I got a call from 866-435-7960. Are they related some way? I want them to stop. I'm registered on the do-not-call list.This is rediculous.

just got a call from 866-435-7960 , you think if they want poeple to respond, they should show some identification in call display? too bad for the poeple they represente.

I've been getting the same phone calls on my cell phone... At least twice a day. I got fed up and decide to contact Rogers to block this number on my phone and guess what???? They charge you 5 buck a month to have the number blocked!!!! So... I have to pay Rogers 5 dollars avery month to have their calls blocked!!! Isn't it hironic? I'm just been polite here. If someone else find out a way of blocking them I'd love to know!

Rogers Home Phone telemarketing...trying to get new customers...they call 6-7 times a day but have stopped since I told them to.

It is rogers and their telemarketing from India.  I called rogers and asked them to stop, they said they would, but it started again 2 weeks later.

My next step is to change my phone number at rogers to somebody in India or maybe Pakistan...Haven't decided.

When will the Government step in a stop this duopoly?
