My wife and I received a call from them stating that we owe them 44
dollars. We never heard of them before that phone call. But a quick
search on them revealed nothing but scams like on the ripoff report.
We live in BC Canada and the phone number of the people who called us
on Double Day's behalf is 1-866-437-3886.

Many have been fraudulently billed on their credit cards I have read
who like us have never even heard of the company...But strangely
enough they claim that we owe them money.

They are crooks, thieves, immoral criminals. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE! JUST HANG UP!
GET RID OF THEIR LOWLIFE VOICE AND SCAMS! They don't even deserved to be listened to.

We keep getting repeated calls they either hang up before we answer or there is no one there when we answer. I've started just ignoring when I see it come up "toll free service" but my husband always answers anyways and gets no one. Been at least 1 per day during week days in the last few weeks and its rather annoying. If it were a collection agency or a telemarketer wanting to talk to someone they should take the time to make sure someone is on the other end when they call!

Receive all kinds of calls from this #. Just a recording so have never has the opportunity to talk to anyone.  Have even tried to call them back to see what the heck they want, but they put you on hold for ever. I'm afraid that I could be being charged long distance or something when they put you on holld so long.  If they are a collection agency, I DO NOT OWE ANY ONE ANY MONEY!

This number called me and left a message on my phone. A message I couldn't understand at all, so I looked it up to see who was calling me. Seems like a collection agency. I never answer though, they'll just keep harassing you. I had a company do this to me last year until I said I'd take them to court for harassment. There's a fine line, people that work for these company's make me sick. Get a life.

the numbers calls me around twice a day when I answer no one is on the line but faintly in the back round I can here girls talking. its extremely strange. and highly annoying.

Several time call is coming from above no to my home phone no 4038000952. Why and who call me.

They are not a scam - they are a legitimate collection agency.  You obviously owe them money are just upset about it.

You know, they call me all the time too and it drives me crazy but guess what?  I OWE THEM MONEY!!  So the only person that should make you sick is yourself for not paying your debts... it's your own fault!  I owed $80 on a Shaw bill one time that I had no idea about and I ignored the calls for years and complained like you are, but it turned out I DID owe them money and their call, while extremely annoying, were completely legitimate.  And how stupid of me to not pay that piddly amount and have it affect my credit all that time.  You should talk to someone there if you are getting their calls, you may find out you owe money that you had no idea about, it happens.  Just sayin'...

I have no debt and all bills are overpaid, definitely not legit collectors man. I have credit reports done every tax season. They're fishing for active phone numbers obviously to sell to scammers probably. Collection agency's probably a small front operation.

I receive the phone from this number everyday. It's unmonitored phone call. There is no body at the phone when we answer. They are looking a name of person that I do not know. I tried to call them back but have to leave a message only.

Not sure who these are, but I don't have any credit cards and I don't owe anybody anything. Still they phone two or three times a day via an autodialler. When I pick up nobody ever speaks, so I've blocked the number.

I would like to block this number. They are calling every day leaving messages and I know for sure I don't owe anyone anything! They are clearly a fraud!

I literally JUST recieved a call from this number, as well as a week ago (I didn't answer either time) the number said it was from the United States, yet when I called the number back they spoke in English and French

blocked them.they have several numbers
