Called my cell phone number, asking for the name of the owner of the house we rent.

What is that about?

These guys are cowardly, soulless vultures. When I wouldn't let the agent "control the call", he hung up on me. They still call, at least once a day. I'm disabled and it hurts to get up and answer the phone.

Soul or no soul, I've never seen a vulture not pay his bill.

10.12.13  Caller, Spanish accent, left msg. on my cell, said call was for "Donna N." and it was very important.  15 yrs. ago, I co-signed for "Donna N."  loan was paid off within 3 months and I this was my cell #.  This annoying caller used my # to tell me to have "Donna N." call him. 15 yrs. ago!!! Jerks.

got called from them asking me for my birthday and SS# because they wanted to help me.  saying they were calling from Taylor business Institute. Person I talked to was Tyra Jones Torres at least that's what she told me.

Looking for someone who doesn't work for company anymore. Very rude. Said they were from Delta something or other. I asked what he needed this info for and he basically yelled at me telling me that he answered my questions so I need to answer his about this former employee. I advised him that I do not give out any information on any employee or previous employee. Total d-bag.

866 441 1957 and actual call from 617-660-3200.  Yes, said they were "Delta" something needed my birthdate so they could help me. Are you kidding me?  I asked what for and finally the young caller said it was about my attendance at come community college that I had never heard of.  I hung up. That was yesterday. Today, getting another call, now from Edna Culley from these phone #s - imperative I return the phone call. Not gonna happen.

These poor bastids are working on a holiday weekend. What does that tell you? All you need to know.

No name for the calling party/organization given. They wanted me to call my "loan provider" at an 877 # regarding my federal student loans. I find it hard to believe that the feds would be delegating such things to outsiders. Also, I think it is quaint that they believe that they believe that I would call a different # than the one which they called from. Especially a different NPA.

got call today said she was from delta....I took message for hubby...wanted to much info told them hes disabled...blah ...blah.... hung up on them...8664411957@11:45a.m.crazy...

This number called my cell at 9:45 this morning.  Since I had my glasses on, I saw the number, didn't recognize it, and so didn't take the call.  Why should I talk to scumbags about an alleged default that isn't mine?  I assume it's Delta since they've tried to call me in the past from other spoofed numbers.    

These people called me at 5:30am on a Saturday morning!!! No message... Is this legal????

They called me again today, this time at 2 PM.  Recognizing the number from last month's call, I did not answer.  Imagine how often they would call if I were to answer!  My finances are in perfect order, and I see no need to discuss with them other people's problems.

Got several calls from them on my cell phone over the span of three days. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. Finally looked it up online and it led me here. I don't have any student loans or any other loans for that matter and I pay my bills on time, so I can only assume that it's for the person who had my phone number before me.

They jerks will not stop calling my office asking for HR.  They want to know salary information for someone they are looking to verify employment.  They have no idea the person they are trying to ruin is the same person they are talking to.  It is embarrassing they will not stop calling my office, cell and my family.  I have tried to work out arrangements with them but they want more than I could ever begin to afford.  I was paying at one time until I got very ill had a stroke and was out of work for over 8 years.  In that time I had to fight for disability and finally gave up not winning my case.  I explained I can not receive these calls at work and they call almost every other day asking for salary information and employment verification, I explained to them that they had their verification of employment they spoke to her on the phone.  She did not sign a release to give anyone her private information so therefore without a court order they will get nothing more.  They will not stop calling and some can get so rude.  I am sorry but when I make so little I offer to make arrangements of 50.00 a month that should be plenty.  Not with these blood suckers!!! Someone needs to stop them!!!!!

They make up fake debts and try to get you to give them info over the phone. They tried to get me to give them my ssn about some student loan I supposedly have with a non-existent art college a few minutes ago. I have never been to any college on a loan of any kind. I have never cosigned on any loans either. I have seen reviews on sites like this one that claim this company is legitimate, it is not. Those claims are false.
We have told them to stop calling in the past. Several months ago they were calling from the same number and trying to get my wife to take out a student loan with them. When she refused to answer personal questions or give the woman on the phone her ssn the woman got mad and started cussing at her. The woman sounded like she may have been Indian and my wife had trouble understanding her after she started yelling so she hung up. A few minutes later a man called and I answered and he tried to get me to take out a student loan when I wouldn't put her on the phone. I told him I knew this was a scam and then he tried to sell me a subscription to a porn site. I told him I wasn't interested and asked him to take us off his call list and he said that he was going to monitor my computer and get my ssn that way. He demanded $1500 to keep him from doing it and I hung up on him. They called no less than 10 times a day for weeks after that and finally stopped. We wouldn't answer the phone after I hung up on him. They occasionally left messages. Some they tried to make sound legit and others were just nasty and/or rude. It was usually a man or woman that sounded Indian, but sometimes it was a man that sounded American. Today it was the American sounding man.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE INFO OVER THE PHONE. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY EITHER.
Your legit bill collectors will not contact you like these people do.
