I have received at least 12 calls from this number. I was told I ordered an instler for 14.95. I was supposed to return it or pay close to $100.00 for it. I hung up on them. They called again today, I told them I would have my lawyer handle this. The person I spoke to (after being on hold for about 5 min.) did not speak english. He was spelling words. I told him I could noy understand him and I was hanging up. What information should I give to my lawyer?

Express Response sent us a letter saying we owed $225 for a dual saw we never ordered or received.  Don't even know what it is.  The govt needs to crack down on these  dishonest collection agencies trying to collect money from people that don't owe a thing.  We will report them to the BBB and authorities if they continue to harass us!

I received a message saying I owe $119.98 for Dual Saw.  They claim that a delivery was made and that I had agreed to make installments. This is all untrue.  This never happened.  They also offered for you to pay online or use your credit card.  Beware everyone!  Be smart!  This is definitely a SCAM!

Collection company for the "Your Baby Can Read" DVD series.  Calling my elderly parents' house looking for me but have never contacted me directly!  Would not tell my father their name, but lied and said I'd provided my folks' number in conjunction with my order.  They also call from 866-441-4732.

After calling the number back over 20 times, I finally got a live person.  What an A$$HOLE...he would not tell me what comany he worked for...all he kept saying was that he worked for many different companies and that I would have to give him personal information so that they could find me in their system.  What a SCAM.  I hung up and called back...Got a woman on the phone who was much nicer and told me the name of the company is Express Response...A billing Company...sounds like a collection agency to me.  I gave her my phone number and told her I was not who they are looking for...she said it takes about 24 hours for the number to be deleted from their calling system.  Hopefully this will end the onslaught of phone calls I get from them on a daily basis.

This company called me three times during last week. They kept asking me about another person, a stranger, and whether I know him. I told them I don't know him whatsoever. The company keeps calling me, however.

From what I know and what I have been reading, this is a company that is a debt collector for those who purchase items sold primarily online.

Recently I purchases one of the NUBRILLIANCE machines online while I was working away from home, which is where I saw the add for the first time. I selected their installment  payment plan of 3 months~

When I returned home,  the machine had arrived.  Shortly after my return home,  I received an email from Nubrilliance, stating that they had been unable to process their payment using the payment method I had provided them.

This was odd, so I went to investigate what was taking place.........

I discovered the reason that the payment did not go through was due to their attempt to charge me for the entire amount due in ONE payment.

Not going to work here!   Due to  being safety conscious when possible to do so,  by looking at the amount of complaints found online and the risky area's or how consumers are taken advantage of in many situations especially when purchasing online or the TV specials -"but wiat, if you order within the next 30 minutes we will DOUBLE YOUR ORDER!!   (just pay shipping and handling....)  lololol !   (Doesn't that sound familiar?).......  THEN!  when you receive the product(s) the actual shipping charges make you faint??!!     ;)
I have a special account set up to where the ONLY funds that  are in that account, are the funds to cover the cost  for payments which were originally agreed to!  Having learned the hard way once or twice through out the years!

So, I went back into my email and used the "link" they provide to assist you in order to correct this payment issue and would contact customer support......   HA!

The ONLY  area you can go or get to from where this link takes you, is to where you can update your payment method so they can get their money~!!!

No information what so ever on how to reach customer service  to correct  what must * obviously* be a *mistake* at their end......right?  (tongue in cheek!)
I went back to the site to see if there was some other small link I may have over looked or missed, but nope.  There simply is NOT ONE THERE!

I even went so far as to refer back to the address that the email I was originally sent was from, and made several attempts at "playing" with that address hoping that one of those would get through to whom I was trying to get in touch with, but those were all returned also.  :(

Its their loss actually.  The message I was trying to get to reach  them was stating that I was NOT going to make ANY payments to them until I was provided with the proper consumer information for customer service and support in order to do so!

Then a couple of days ago, this phone number started appearing in  caller ID and my call logs.  The first two times I answered, but no one was on the other end so  I quit answering them at that point and let my answering machine take over.   Thats when the message that was left, very clandestine or cryptic at best was left by a recording identifying the name of woman caller and a very long reference number.... however this message blatantly is *void* of any details that would encourage me to want to call her back as there is no company name given, no name given as to whom they are trying to reach, only the "reference number" and stating to phone her back~ NO pertinent information being provided.
I am NOT in the habit of returning  a stranger phone calls~  Nor will I ever be.....

How I managed to make the connection to this being based on the NUBRILLANCE machine I had recieved was a second email was sent out this time listing a phone number in it, which when I looked is the SAME number that Ms. Anette Smith is calling from.

Give me a freaking break!   DONT send you automated robotic lasy ass tech ways to contact me... It wont work.
YOU wish to contact me and get paid for your merchandise?  Then make it real and one on one...human to human, and THEN I wont have any problem paying you.   However when I am not provided the necessary details as to WHY  you attempted to violate a financial agreement that was made between  with ME, that I accepted? and where you continue to practice being elusive, less than forthright actions on your part,  and then add insult by using lazy mechanical methods to do so?  You can go and piss up a rope for all I care.  YOU violated the terms that were agree to.  Not me.  You can now contact me correctly and in the proper manner, as one on one and human to human and explain your actions from the beginning to what I am now going to conclude is the end or our transaction "history" until you respond to me in an acceptable manner!

Ticks me off when companies do this crap, and why I defend against them in this manner.

I wanted to make sure the the name of the company is picked up by the search engines!  NUBRILLIANCE  is whom they advertise to be, however there is no information available for NUBRILLIANCE  that I have been provided or have been able to locate online regarding NUBRILLIANCE ,beyond bulk merchandisers who are a conglomeration of many different companies and where  NUBRILLIANCE  could not be traced??

I have since been reading online how there are problems with this machine not long after purchase.....this will also lend to the outcome of this product as far as I'm concerned should a real person attempt to contact me~....

First, thanks to everyone who had posted already regarding this number. It quite possibly saved me from being scammed as well!

I received this email twice over the weekend:
    ----------------
Dear (my first and last name here),

Please call 1-866-441-4728 regarding the PROACTIV SOLUTION you received on 08/29/11.  This is a toll free number for your convenience as this e-mail domain does not accept response e-mails.  Your file number is xxxxxxxxxx (10 digit # here).

    Sincerely,

    Billing Department
    ----------------

I was initially suspicious for two main reasons. One, while I did subscribe to Proactiv for a short time, I cancelled it about 7 months ago due to moving overseas, and I know my account must have been cleared to do so. Second, the from address was "Billing@autobillpayer.com" mentioning Proactiv nowhere, even though they clearly wanted you to think that it was Proactiv itself.

What is particularly insidious, however, is that I did indeed receive my last order of Proactiv on or around this date...the ship date was the 24th of August. So, I dutifully went through my old bank statements and matched it to the orders, and as far as I can tell I paid 100% of everything I was owed and have documentation to prove it.

At this point I search the number in the email and come upon this and other helpful web pages. Thankfully I don't receive any calls, as my old US phone number is long cancelled, and I found this helpful information before I blindly called the number.

I'll be keeping a close watch on my bank account just in case. It is unsettling that they had both my email address and approximate order date, as well as the general level of complexity involved in this scheme.

One more note...I find it funny that those who have successfully (unfortunately) talked to someone at this number complain of the bad English, and interspersed with the legitimate posts on these forums are posts like "they are just collecting money with ppl who has debt". Entirely coincidental I'm sure...
