This place is VERY rude. Keeps calling me even though I am not the person they are looking for and have told them so several times!!

Constantly calling saying it is urgent..But is always asking for the same person who I never heard of.

I got an urgent message from this number. They call themselves CRA. Who are these people?

They called claiming urgent need to talk. Have no idea who these people are. Fail!

This is a collection agency.  They are skip tracing people utilizing data from years ago.  They never stop calling even if you advise them to.  They are extremely rude and very unprofessional.

Called my step daughter (diff last name) said to give me message to call back. Anyone know what CRA stands for and where are they?

This company keeps calling my home asking for ANGEL HERNANDEZ - I've had this number for 20 years and do not nor have I ever known an Angel Hernandez.

Keep telling them over and over to take my number off - these people are absolutely the rudest idiots in the world.  They start screaming at you and saying you (me) are being rude, beligerent, making racist remarks, cussing, etc.  All untrue.  

All I want are these idiots to stop calling my number - they keep saying they'll remove it but they never do.

What a bunch of losers - this probably is the only job these idiots could ever get, no wonder they're so nasty!

Why don't we all call them up and run up their bill - use *67 and then call their number and pretend you got the wrong number, and just drag the call out!!!

They have called several times. One time got really rude with my husband said they couldn't talk to anyone but me or "my representative". I have two credit card debts that are over 11 years old. Received the latest call today. I called them back told them not to call me--these were over 7yrs old--then he tries to tell me he was not " a collection agency" and got very loud and started shouting at me saying I needed to listen. Claimed the creditors are requesting a 1099c sent to me. I told him don't call me again and hung up on him. Oh I couldn't understand the first person I talked to as to what the company name and his was, then kept me on hold forever and was put w/a second man who did the same. SCAM!

They are really a bunch of JERKS.

They called me from 310-601-7357 and left 866-452-9518 as a call back number in the URGENT message that they left on my answering service.

Don't do the star 67 thing that NOTANGELHERNANDEZ suggested as you can't hide your number when you call any 800 #, it will show up on their screen anyway.

What you can do is RECORD your conversation with them, TELL them not to call you again, and remind them that THEY are in violation of FEDERAL LAW if they do.

Then say "Oh yeah, I'm RECORDING this conversation as we speak."

That should end their calling spree, if not then turn them in and let the feds deal with them.

I received a call asking for a Cindy Adams or Idans or Ijams wanting her to call about an account number 15010151. Don't know who these people are, don't know a Cindy Adams or idams or ijams. Had this phone for a long time and also know the people that had it before us not the people they are looking for.

In April of 2009, CRA was successfully sued by the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions for conducting business in the State Of Arizona without the benefit of a license and lying about having applied for one. (Case No# 09F-BD072-SBD) They were slapped with a Cease And Desist Order and $5,000.00 in Civil penalties. Unless you actually live in Virginia, it is doubtful they are licensed in your State either.

These people are scum. They buy up old debt reports that is over 7 years old and has been written off by the creditor and call you to try to harrass you into paying it. This debt is NOT on your credit report any longer and if you give them anything it will not go to the creditor. It will go right into their pockets.

They are a serial violator of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
If you ever talk to ANYONE at that place they will be rude and try to harras you. Just tell them you are going to call the Federal Trade Commission at +1.877.382.4357 and file a complaint and then hang up.

Got a call from this number today asking for someone I don't know.  The man identified himself as Mr. Arnett and stated he was a "supervisor".  I told him that I did not know this person and gave him the "account number" and said do not call back.  He tried to pressure me to give him my phone number and name.  I said he needed to pull up the account and identify the phone number as not belonging to whoever. When I asked him for his company name, he refused to give it stating that his company was not "public" and he did not have to give me a name.  He then stated that his "company" does "pre-legal" work for the IRS.  Yeah. Like I believe that.

I just got a call from these jerks too.  It went on my answering machine.  They left a message saying they were calling from CRA and that they want to speak to me about a business proposition.  (??)  After reading these posts I'm convinced it's a third party debt collector trying to harass people to pay some 20 year old debts beyond the statute of limitations.
