This call was from a Sprint Plans & Upgrades call center, they only call to try and talk people into upgrades, it's unrelated to customer service. When they called I requested to be placed on their do-not-call list.

I filed a complaint with the FCC to get them to stop calling.  Recommend everyone do the same.

I got a call from 866-463-3018and I answered it.  No one talked to me.  You could tell someone was on the line but they wouldn't talk. I think they should be charged with harrassment.

They called me and they aren't calling me again. I am writing to the Sprint Nextel corporate office to file a complaint. Corporate information:

Went through the same hell. Sprint acknowledged that the calls were indeed coming from them, in case you're paranoid that it's some sort of an outside scam. Here's what you should do:

1) Call Sprint Customer Service (*2 if you have a Sprint PCS phone).
2) Although the person answering is probably very nice, request to speak to the floor manager.
3) The floor manager will flag your account in such a way as to alert anyone else in marketing that you do not wish to be contacted.
4) The floor manager will tell you to register your number on the national do-not-call list. You can do this online at https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx or you can call 888 382 1222.
5) Both methods are quick and painless to do.
6) However, it will take 31 days from initial registration before you can expect all telemarketers to stop calling you.
7) If calls keep coming after 31 days, improvise a plan B! :-D

Received a call this morning.  Nice that they call on DAYTIME MINUTES.  Of course, if I don't know who's calling on my cell, I do not answer.

Received a call during my lunch hour from an 866-463-3018 and you'll hear background noise (people talking) but nobody will speak with you when you say hello. You would expect these prank calls to your home phone but now your cell phones!? (rhetorical)

I often get calls from this number, and my experience goes along with everyone else's. I demand everytime to be removed from thier list. I went to the Sprint website and and started digging around. I found the below email address linked to telemarketing calls and sent a nasty note. This is the reply I received.  Maybe it will help!  Give it a try. I don't believe reporting this to the FCC matters.

I have gotten many calls from this number recently. Almost daily for a week, sometimes more than once a day. I didn't realize it was Sprint. I have a Sprint cell phone. I will be contacting their "office of privacy" and customer service. While I am at it, I want to know if they can block another nuisance call from an 800 number... Anybody getting 800-305-2851? Don't answer it, from what I hear!! Just lookin' out for ya!

oh, and BTW, I have had my cell registered with the do not call registry for about one year. Isn't it supposed to be "good" for five or so?

yep, I just got this call from this number (866-463-3018) today, did not awnser though.

have called my cell twice i never answered but what like the calls to stop

didn't answer the number, but yesterday got text messages from sprint about upgrading my service . . . I texted the stop message back to them, but I guess they decided they would call me, instead now.

I wish these people would just stop calling they call at least 3 times a week , not only my phone but also my husband's we just don't answer!!!!!

They continue to call me. I have just upgraded my phone and plan. They never leave a message either.

I get annoying marketing messages left on my cell. with all this technology you would think I could put blocks on numbers I wish to block.

My phone showed a "missed call".  I haven't called back and won't.

Yeah, I got called by these people too. No response from the callers side at all after 15 seconds, just static background noise. I also have Sprint.
