Asks for personal info. Pretends to be associated with Fannie Mae.

received a call on 1/31/2012 at 1:18PM from this number but didn't recognize the phone number and didn't answer nor was a message left

They call the home phone, then 30 min the home phone again
And then immediately after my cell and they leave a message, it's been happening for days

I'v had 6 calls from this number in the past 2 weeks. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. lets block this number maybe they will get it and stop calling

Several phone calls in a row and in a day.  No messages, when I do answer phone there is no one there to talk with!

Just an automated message...apparently Fannie Mae to set up appointment for counseling.
Never a life person.  Calls about 2 times a day!

First of all this is plain harassment of unauthorized calls from those posing as Fannie Mae Representative. I f I need assistance pertaining to mortgage then I know how to seek help immediately so to who it may concerns or to those that are making these scam calls. I am reporting this matter to the appropriate legal authorities so they may investigate YOU!!!! So Stop calling!!!!!!!!

They're calling for someone that isn't me.  I finally called back the number saying that it was incorrect.  They verified my name and "took me off the list"  They were at least pleasant on the phone and didn't try anything.  so hopefully that is over with.

Resolve Corporation making robo calls claiming to be affiliated with FNMA.  When questioned about affiliation, the person answering quickly changed to "Resolve Corporation" acting on behalf of FNMA.  Scam wanting to enter the $$ game.

Calls cell few times a day for past few days.  Leaves an automated message claiming to be
Fannie Mae and claims they have counselors to assist with mortgage issues. It says "pertaining to your mortgage with Fannie Mae"  - My mortgage is not with Fannie Mae... They call a  number of times each day, sometimes leaves that same automated message and other times not.... But it is annoying....

Can't get a straight answer from caller. It's an automatic dialer and refers you to call another number or press 5 to stay on the line. Pressed 5 and it disconnected me. Called the number back and they claim they want to discuss my mortgage. They could provide no specifics about our account when asked questions and advised them they were violating the Fair Credit and Collection act as we have an attorney and a cease and desist letter has been sent to them. We have a point contact at Fannie Mae, but this was not that person nor were they calling from the recognized Fannie Mae numbers. Caller ID states "Toll Free Number" while Fannie Mae's numbers come up as Fannie Mae on the caller i.d. I suspect this is not Fannie Mae and that this is a telemarketing/scam caller. I've read that the number belonged to Bank of America in the past. I have no loan with Bank of America.

Could you post the name and address that you sent the cease and desist letter to for these bozos? Thanks.
