wrong number they ask for someone elsei have told them reaptley but they do not seem to understand

I get the exact same thing, it drives me crazy..."this is a call for Mailme Bejing concerning a personal business matter"...aghhhh

My message said it was Ms. Gardner regarding an "on-going business matter". The person said that they had been trying to contact me for "some time now" and that I had not bothered to reply.  I have never heard from them before and have no idea what it's about.

I just got the same call - they were ringing for someone I have never heard from.  Looking for a Dudley.....

this gets annoying after 3 calls in 6 minutes

calls 3 or 4 times a day. I think its a debt collector. The more they call the less I will ever answer it.

received call from this number, Caller's voice was low like chewing a mouthful of  gum & whispering asking for someone unknown to me... WTF

Left garbled message asking for some unknown person, and to call back at this number to complete some unknown business

My proven way to stop these calls......

Answer, speak immediately so the computer will transfer to a live person. Then have fun with it, tell them you are so interested, but keep doing things, like answering doorbell, getting pen and paper, getting credit card.

The more you can waste that live person's time (and wages) will get you off call lists faster than any "do not call" list. I do this, and they never call again, and I have rarely been getting new calls.

Hit them where it hurts, the wallet.

If a nice percentage of people did this, all telemarketing would probably stop...

And please feel free to pass all of this along whenever you post comments on other numbers...

Have been asked for unknown person to me
Told by them that they are debt collectors
Have assured them that they have the wrong number of person
Am being harassed by these people nonetheless.
I'm absolutely fed up!

These guys use many different numbers and I have sent them "cease & desist" letters, reported them to Gv't, and sent a copy to My Lawyer. I have an unlisted number so they are violating my privacy. I have kept a record for the past 2 years of every call, time of day, and number they are using. I now have enough backup information I am taking it to my Daughter's Legal firm of which she is a Partner.

This number is making scam calls for money.

I received a call from this number on Wednesday 20 Nov 13 at 1:25PM. No message left on answering machine.

They call my law office regularly and never leave a message.  I have no idea who they are.

I have had non-stop calls from them over the last 3 weeks (usually filling up my answering machine).  They do not seem to understand (or write down) when I tell them to stop calling (and that they have the wrong person).

My message said it was Jenny regarding an "on-going business matter". The person said that they had been trying to contact me for "some time now" and that I had not bothered to reply.  I have never heard from them before and have no idea what it's about. They also called me by the wrong name, and left this number plus they gave me an extension number of 6526 and I should reply as soon as possible to settle this matter.

This number calls our office daily. It is always an automated message about an important business matter and I should call back with a reference number. Id like to speak with someone and get them to stop but I fear if I actually speak with a person that the calls may become more frequent.

I received a call from this number and they asked for someone i've never heard of before.My call display says its coming from the united states.
