This number calls often and regularly, never leaves a message.  I picked it up today and it is Bank of America.

I get calls from this number 3 or 4 times a day.  When I pick up, there is no one there.  Is there a way to stop them?

I get calls from this number day and night!  I never pick it up, ever.  But it comes in on a line that is reserved only for one client and the number is never given out and is unlisted.  Go figure!

I get a call from this number at least once a day in the evening, after 6:00pm. Sometimes I get one also in the morning. Who are they? What do they want?

I'm getting repeated calls as well, and no message left. I do not answer these calls, nor attempt to return them. I have an account with Bank of America; do any of the rest of you have business with this bank?

It is BofA. They are soliciting services.

I do have a BofA account - does that mean they are allowed to call whenever they want even if I'm on the do not call list.  I will answer next time and tell them to stop calling if anyone actually is there on the line.

I pay for this phone service so I can call out and have FRIENDS call in.
When will the 24 hour barrage of solicitations end?

TV sucks cuz of it. (Canceled Satellite and cable, I don't watch broadcast.)
Magazines suck cuz of it. (I don't subscribe to them, don't read them.)
Newspapers suck cuz of it. (OK...I do read the local on Sunday only.)
Radio sucks cuz of it. (Don't listen to it. I play CDs instead or nothing.)
ASK YOUR DOCTOR...Why is this even legal when you can't buy them without a prescription?

I answer calls when I don't know who it is in a foreign language accent and act like I am the "help". Tell them Mr. E not home, take message. They never leave one. It's my way of sticking it to the "man" and giving the telemarketer a giggle to share with their coworkers in their pathetic jobs.

Daily calls to my home number which is unlisted, from early morning to night.No message left.

February 3, 2009 12:57 PM MST & February 4, 2009 4:31PM MST, and today February 6, 2009 10:22 AM MST all show up on the caller ID as Bank Of America.  I answered one of these calls on February 4th and they asked for Michelle Booker who is someone that previously had my number, however, I've had this number since Apr 2007 and it is on the DNC.  They said that since Michelle has an account with BofA that they have business with her and therefore the call is not covered by the DNC.  The woman I spoke to said that BofA was offering insurance, and tried to solicit me.  I told her I was not interested and to please stop calling.  She said she would remove my number from their calling list but it would take up to 30 days.  I guess there policy is to call twice a day to someone who already advsd they are not interested.  What idiots!

Don't bother with the opt-out links, already been there, done that. That was a long while ago too, so it would have taken effect by now if they had any intention of honoring it. These calls are more than annoying, they are ILLEGAL!!
And given the frequency and nature of them, fits the legal definition of harassment. I've had them call AFTER 9 PM, which is CLEARLY in violation of the law. Too bad it costs so much to take legal action against them.

They call every day trying to sell insurance etc...

I got so annoyed that I resolved change my account to other Bank.

I received a call from this number.  I called them back immediately and it was indeed Bank of America.  The recording allowed me to enter my phone number and be placed on their "Do Not Call" list.  They said it would take 30 days.

Yes they just called my house and ask for me by name. I said he is not in and they said they would call back.
