This number is for Nordstrom FSB.  Typically will recieve a call from this number if you have fallen past due on your credit card.

A person claiming to be nordstrom bank asked for a call back to this number. My opinion is that this is not a public number, although the person claimed it was.  I recommend calling back on 1-866-491- 7863, a published, nordstrom.com, Nordstrom Bank Number.

This is a scam call.  I got a call from this number, didn't answer, googled the number, found this thread, got suspicious.  Just to be sure, I called the number on the back of my Nordstrom credit card and confirmed that my account was completely up to date.  They even went so far as to say that they had just mailed my latest bill to me 5 days ago.  6 hours later I get the same phone call again asking if I'd like to set up auto-pay to "get my account back up to date".  

They're full of crap, don't get taken by them.  If you really want to be sure, call the number on your credit card - never give out information to random people who claim to be from somewhere.

This is probably the fifth call in the last week or so - I do not have a Nordstom card and someone from this number keeps leaving a message saying to call back "Nordsrtom bank" - also they do not ask for anybody specific on the messages left. Agree it's a scam -- Odd & annoying..

My guess is that you have a son or daughter who has a Nordstrom card with a payment past due. He or she probably used your phone number as their contact number when they applied for credit with Nordstoms. Lucky you.

I kept getting a phone call, from a recording from someone claiming to be from Nordstrom Bank, with a British accent. I called Nordstrom two times (the first time confirmed that everything was fine). The second time, they checked with their fraud department and told me NOT to answer this phone call, it is a scam, and only call the number on the back of the card. To sound legitimate, the message gives the correct Nordstrom number to call, but Nordstrom is not calling. Finally, the latest message gave this number, which lead me to this thread -- SCAM!! Never give out any private information!

I've gotten two calls from this number, no message. Oddly enough, I do have a Nordstrom Debit Card, and I did have two hefty fraudulent charges on it. Nordstrom did look into it and refunded my money within a couple of days. They also closed that account and opened a new one which is password protected. Since all this had been resolved I can't imagine why this number, which is not the one I called, would be calling me now.

Multiple calls from them saying Laurie from Nordstrom bank I first tried returning the call and then realized it seemed suspicious. I checked my online info w them and I'm completely current with no one else on my card etc. calling number on my card tomorrow as I'm sure this is scam for payment to them.

Rejected call from (866) 491-7864 at 11:51 AM PST.  No message left.

My household, nor any of my extended family, has a Nordstrom account, yet the automated calls from "Eric" continue daily.  Caller ID shows 800 Service.  All calls received at my house go to voicemail unless I know who's calling.  One time a a real person (female) from Nordstrom left a message for a female whose name I know not.  Apparently a female provided a wrong phone number to Nordstrom to avoid collection calls.  Obviously this isn't a case of identity theft or I'd be receiving collection mail as well.  I choose not to speak to collection agents, who won't believe me anyway and are known to be a lot that becomes verbally abusive.  This is Nordstrom's problem, not mine.  One day they'll correct their error and the calls will stop.  Until then, I could care less.

Received a call from this number with no message left. I'm assuming it was Nordstrom calling to tell me that my in-store order could not be fulfilled. I did open the Nordstrom Debit with them, which I think I will cancel based on the feedback here.

repeated, constant calls from this number

I've been getting calls from them all week, sometimes twice a day. Called them back and it was the 'Nordstrom Credit/debt card', but I needed to put in the last 4 digits of my SSN. Such a scam.

Ive been receiving constant phone calls from them!  I finally answered and they claimed to be Nordstrom Rack and said that my purchases were not covered and wanted me to reissue info so payment could be fulfilled!  I told them I would call them back.  This is probably a scam

I called Nordstrom and they were stern in saying this is a fraudulent phone call!

The voice recording you receive will ask for your nordstrom acct number, last 4 SSN then say it doesn't match, ask for your Nordstrom acct number again, then say that because the information you entered was not correct, to enter the last 8 numbers of your SSN (that was highly suspicious), then your birthday and zip code.

That is a lot of personal data. So I called nordstrom directly to inquire if they called--they said no, asked me for the phone number, checked with their other departments and they verified it was a fraudulent call.

Nordstrom said they would NEVER ask for that personal information because they already have it on file. They responded to my inquiry by placing a fraud alert on my account and issuing me a new card.

Protect yourself. Do not listen the above comments who believe this is a legitimate Nordstrom service calling. Call Nordstrom (866.445.0426) and see for yourself.

I've received multiple calls from this number. The voicemail is a recording claiming to be nordstrom bank and to call back. Upon calling they say they've located my account and to enter the last 4 of my social.

I never entered the info because it seemed shady and I checked my account status online which was up to date.

Sounds like a scam and appears to be so after looking at this thread!

This number claims to be Nordstrom Bank but it is fraud. I am an ex-Nordstrom employee and went back into my old store to talk to credit about the massive amount of phone calls I have been receiving from this number at all hours of the day. It is not a Nordstrom phone number, it is just one digit off. It is a fraudulent caller. Do not give them your information.
