This call comes in from Jennifer about an account that is already paid down and is over 8 years old and has been removed from my credit report.
When asked for the company;s name or callers full name or supervsor the call thn ends. Thsi telephone numer has been reported to the BBB.

This number called my house asking for my father whom has never lived here and has never given out my number. I am close to my parents so I asked them about this number calling me before and they informed me it is a scam. These people tried to get my parents address and updated phone numbers. My parents have had the same address and # for 30 years now if this was a true thing they would have that info. BE CAREFUL AND DO A SEARCH ON THEM BEFORE YOU REPLY TO THEM!

Got a call from a family member that someone from this number was looking for me.  I called the number and was told by a foreign speaking man that I needed to make a payment because I owed money.  I asked what account # was he referring to and he said he didn't have that information. He said  I could send him a money order or make a payment over the phone.  I told him I was calling the police and that his number was traceable, he got very nervous and began apologizing.  I hung up.   About 10 minutes later I tried calling that number back but it just rang and rang.  No answer.  I believe this is a scam of some kind.  They call someone the person knows (not sure how they get that info) and try and scare them into giving them money.  Do not give out any information about yourself or any family member/friend.  These scam artists are getting very very sophisticated.

I am getting repeated calls from this number, I can't understand the guy very well, can't understand his name, company, etc.  I answered it once and he asked for some name I couldn't understand, and I said I don't recognize the name.  I continue to get the calls from this number now, and just let them go to voicemail.

Oh yeah, I entered the number as "Garbage" on my contacts list, so I can quickly see it's not worth answering :)

This man called me for several months after I told him I was not Isabel Fuentes at BBT Bank. He said, "you sound like her." I said, "Well, I'm a hillbilly so I can't be here.  Please stop calling my phone number."

And he said, "Oh, I know, you are Karen Ross."

I want him reported.

Bill collector for Stacy Loggerham. Don't know her, never heard of her, he tells me to prove it. Guys name is Kasam or something like that, says it was a different person that called last time. Really? Hard to forget that name, your voice or that almost incoherent accent. I've been recording their calls and forwarded everything to the state ag. Done screwing around with these clowns.

Called my unlisted number and left no message.  Probably trying to collect from someone that had my number years and years ago.  Bozos.

I got a call from this same num on my IPOD. It called me about 4 times over each week. I got so tired of it cause i never could answer it. But now i know not to deal with it. I never could answer it anyways

Im getting repeated calls from this number (866-517-7458) asking for a person who I do not know. After telling them the person they are looking for does not live here nor do I know them they continue to call. They told me they were taking my number off of their list and they have not do so.

Got calls form this number and also 716-564-4905.  They both sounded like ppl of Indian descent.   Asked for some guy named Edmund.  Told them htis was nto him  but the wanted more info which I told them I would not give3 them.  Also told them if they continue to call me I would report them to the authorities.

I received a call on my cell this morning from this number. I went ahead and googled the number and found all these other messages. I called them back from my work phone. They asked what number they called me on because there was no record of the number I was calling from (they use caller id of course). I gave them my number and they said they had no record and asked my first and last name. I didn't give it to him and asked him what kind of company they were. He said they deal in a number of different companies so they would have to look me up by my name. I simply said that if they didn't find it important enough to leave a message to me then I didn't find it important enough to help them out with my information. The guy was nice enough and I wasn't being mean so I said I'd just wait to see if someone calls me again.

People say it's either AmEx or a bill debt collector. Call everyday, waits through rings for a long time and leaves no message. Scamming [***].

Be careful of these people! They called my husbands cell phone a few weeks back and told him that they were a credit collection company "First Source" and that we were $1.00 short on our amex bill. My husband asked me about it and I told him that's not true because I always pay over the min. payment. While I was looking for the bill payment on line, they told him that he could pay the $1.00 with his credit card. What? Serious? I told him to hang up. I've reported them to BBB.org and the donotcall.gov. BTW..The amex bill was NOT short $1.00. Guard your Identity!!

A scam trying to extract information to steal identity

A man from this number keeps calling me. I have told him the first 4 times he has called asking for a Robert Mcgee. I said, this use to be his #. It hasn't benn his # for 2 1/2 years. I DO NOT know who he is; so PLEASE remove my # from your calling list. AND he keeps calling me. I have yelled to him on the home that he is harrassing me. After today I have had enough. What part does he NOT get? I do NOT know Robert Mcgee. I was just unlucky to get his #.
