They lied and said that they were lawyers with important information but it was an credit card account that had been paid off years ago when I told them they then got very rude

Who the heck are these guys?  They said they are with CRA Processing firm about a 'filing' that could turn into a very bad tax matter?  Have NO IDEA who they are and what they want would not give me a straight answer and they knew the last four of my social. I was transferred over to a partner/processor and was left on hold for over 2 minutes and hung up.

They called my aunt asking for my brother who doesn't and never has lived with her saying that they needed to hear from my brother or his attorney regarding a "case". The person who called was named "Kitchen"???? When I called the number to find out who they were the man who answered was very rude and started asking me for information, when I refused he hung up on me.

I keep getting these calls for a person that used to have my number, I guess, they have my first name, but not last name...and they keep calling leaving threating messages, I have perfect credit, never any issues!!! i am now saving all of the messages for a law suit!!!

guy saying that he has a case # I want's to make sure I am aware becuase he has papers on his desk that show that something very important is happening & that I have not even been notified.

this company called my mother home number saying it was urgent that I call them. I don't even have my mother's home #. I called them back when they answered the woman (mitchell) said is this John and then spouted out my SS #. I could have been anyone. the told me I owe for credit cards that had been long paid for. they were rude. and would not give me the name of the company. I had to look up the # on the net. they also said I have 5 days to paid or they were going to garnish my checks. this company is bogus. and someone should legally do something.

Message from John Gibson of CRA, left a case number regarding a very important matter...my file is on his desk for immediate action so he says.  
Told me to call him back TODAY 866-528-7147.  Stated that he is not a telemarketer, again that it is a very important matter I NEED TO CALL.  
He ended the message with a very snarky "GOOD LUCK".
Yes, Mr Gibson of CRA...  good luck with that.

My wife received a couple of phone calls from these CRA [***] addressed to me. They refuse to identify themselves, and were extremely rude!! Someone by the name Ms.Flynn, from CRA, told my wife that they needed to contact me and that it was an extremely urgent matter and could turn out to be very damaging to ignore their call. They went as far as to get my wife so nervous for my well being, because they told her that if I didn't call them back within 2 days, they would issue an ARREST WARRANT for me and have me arrested for ignoring their call!!
To this day I still don't know what could possibly be the matter that they insist so much about because they never say what is about.
Is anybody out there willing to get into a class lawsuit againts these rude @&#+*!s

Like the rest of the folks here I too received a call from these a** people . I asked them repeatedly who they were due to the fact that I couldnt hear them through the static and background noise , when I said I was asking so much because I couldnt hear them the girl said " I dont know why you cant hear I'm speaking normal why dont you turn up your phone vol." I then told her here you go and hung up. THEY ARE SO DAMN RUDE.They were calling to my cell of all things.WRONG.

I got a call from a a 310-601-7357 number from a CRA processing firm...asking to speak with me. When I asked the person who answered to give me the reasons, the person did not want to explain and said that she was the receptionist. They want more information that I could not provide them. The lady was rude and hang up on me.

These clowns called me several times from a 310 number said they needed to speak with my husband about a "case" said that he had a debt (that was closed 10yrs ago) that they are just now seeking payment for and if we did not make a payment today by 3pm they would file a 1099 with the IRS???? wtf? I have no idea who they are and they refused to give any information about the company were VERY rude and hung up... they really expected me to hand over my money to them in good faith that it was a legit company dealing with a 10yr old debt.... I would LOVE to take these sorry [***] to court, i told the man that answered the phone when i called back i would file charges if they continued to call me and he yelled at me and hung up again. beware of these scammers!!!!!!

They called me from a different phone number 866-583-0814. I called them back and it didn't even ring, went straight to music, which I found odd. No message identifying the company. When they answered they told me they were CRA a processing company. They were calling for my son, who has not lived here for years. They were very vague with me and told me if they gave me any information then I would have to take care of the matter (I still did not even know what the matter was). Did not agree to their terms, still don't know who they are or what they want.

oops...they called me from 310-424-5690 and left the 866 number referred to previously as the call back number.

Received call from 415-513-5915. This is the 3rd call in 4 days all referring back to 866-583-0814. Stated name was Amber from CRA processing firm. 1st call representative tried to sound frantic as if it were an emergency. This call message was a little more calm. I routinely check my credit reports as well as have LifeLock. I have no old or outstanding deliquent debts. Were they find socials and old information is concerning. Not worth a call back. Protect yourselves and do not release any personal information. This threat of reporting to IRS for unpaid accounts is nonsense. Keep in mind that the IRS can only garnish wages for tax debts, student loans, and child support.

Yeah,they called my husbands cell phone today. Merideth was the woman that left the message asking him to 1-866-584-0966 "it's of great importance." When I called back, Just like "puzzled" said the phone didn't ring. It went straight to music, and then a man answered refused to tell me his name. When I asked who they were he simply replyed, they are a processing firm and my husband needs to call back with a referance #. when I asked what it regarded he said it was a tax matter. he wouldn't share anymore info with me. But if it was a tax matter, wouldn't the IRS get ahold of him not a process server? HELLLLLLO!?! do they think we are stupid?

How can we gather together and go against this company. Please if anyone is out there I would love to do this. I beleive that this company is the lowest of the low and believe that they are con artist. I asked for a fax number so when I received the letter that my accounts are clear they told me what a loser I was and they would not give me the fax number unless I had the letter in my hand. This to me is not a company, when I asked for the man I was speaking with to spell his name he became angered and started to yell at me and tell me I was dumb and why dont I understand that he already gave me his name, he had not given me his name. What is scary is that they have some of my personal info. help

The callers my comments are referenced to is CRA processing office. Just to get that name out of the caller was difficult at best almost harrasing on thier part. I do not believe this company is legitimate by any means. and they only have music no title on recorder when you call them back. There has to be somehting we can do. Some new lawyer out there who knows whqt he is doing could really set his career with this. I will check back to this site and see replies.

I got a message to call them that I was told sounded important.  The lady would not tell my stepdad, who had answered the phone, what the call was about.  I figured maybe it was a legitmate creditor call, so I called them back.  Mistake.  The phone did not ring on their end, just went straight to music.  When someone finally answered, I said I had gottten the number off my caller ID and wanted to know why they had called.  He said they had a file on me, whatever that means.  He was very vague about what the problem was and did not say anything about this being an attempt to collect a debt, etc. that debt collectors are supposed to say by law.  I know who my creditors are and have been in contact with them, and none of those companies are CRA anything.  The guy wanted to know if the last four digits of my social security number are **** (won't list them here----he was only off by one digit).  I said no, and that shocked him, so he paused and said he was sorry they must have made a mistake.  Then a while ago they called again----a different operator this time!  Someone else answered for me and took a message, and now I just heard they just called my brother's house!!!!!!   I am calling the BBB, FCC, and TV and newspapers in Houston.  Something has to be done about this!!!!!!!!

Re: the class action lawsuit, I am going to call the papers and news stations here in Houston.  This has to be stopped!  They have already called me 2 times today, then called my brother's house!!!!!!!  I will NOT have these [***] ruin my family relationships because I settled with 2 creditors recently, which must be how they got my information.  I guess I should have just gone to bankruptcy court and paid them all nothing.  Then I would not be getting these calls!!!  I would be interested in the class action lawsuit, but it doesn't seem anyone on here knows who the hell these people are.  Probably calling from overseas where this is legal.
