I didn't answer-got 5 calls while I was in the tub.

Said they were a company named ACT calling for my daughter.  She has her own home and phone, so I don't know why she'd give them this number.

This number calls all hours of the day and night. I don't like this.

This number calls me all day long. I never answer it because I know that these are scam robocalls. I called this number from an office phone to find out who they are. The answer was a prerecorded message and I noticed that this call was not free.

Very rude bill collectors!!!  Call all hours of the day and night even Sundays!!!!  geez!!

These people call 6 or 7 times a day ACT collection.  They are ridiculous.

They keep calling no one there at first. It takes a few then I hang up

Whoever this is calls and says nothing when I pick up. They call several times a day. I don't have any past due debt so a bill collector shouldn't be calling for me.

6 or 7 oh wow wouldn't that be considered harassment?? Even if it is a bill collector they only leave message after 800!!

Harassing phone calls several times a day. Calls and expects me to hold while a human gets on the phone. I just hang up and have added it to auto reject list

God this number keeps calling and calling won't leave a message but continues to call 5 times already today.

It's a debt collection company (mainly for JC Penny) and they are extremely rude. They call at all hours of the day and night. I receive calls as early as 6:30 in the morning and as late as 11:00 at night. When you answer, no one says anything. This will happen 5-6 times before anyone says a word. I have paid the bill in question but they insist I have not. When I try to have them pull up my account to prove it, the man on the other line gets extremely aggravated and hangs up.
They ARE American. It's not a scam call, they're just rude and clearly don't know how to do their job.

Being on the national do not call list will not deter them from calling, they are debt collectors from a company called ACT.

Forgot to add: Block the number directly from your phone. I went to jcpenny to handle the issue. They could clearly see on my account that the bill is paid, and don't understand why the credit union was bascilly harrassing me. So, I blocked the number in my phone.

I answered this number and was told they have been trying to serve me legal time stamped documents. However they didn’t know my address! I didn’t give them information and they eventually told me to go F myself!
