BCN claims called me!!! These damn people called me saying that there has been a claimed filed against me in their office for a cc that I forgot all about! I told him to "Kiss my ass!!" and I refused to pay. What I didn't know is that they had actually filed a complaint in civil court for the $5,000.00 that I owed and when I got the order to come to court I freaked out!!! Needless to say now I have a judgement on my credit for a $7000.00!!! Damn I wish I would have just settled the [***] and called it a day! I'm trying to work things out with them now. I'll keep you posted on how things go.

The original poster is part of the scam. This company is a scam. They will call you up demanding a lot of information from you, they might have some information. They will be very vague about what they are and what they do, and they will tell you there is some sort of civil case against you and then offer you to settle it for less amount. If you are contacted by this number please hang up and contact your local authorities if neccesary.

I forgot to mention, the company is BCN Claims, or BCN Assett Investigations. DO NOT give ANY personal information out to this company.

Call for my son, claiming there is a civil case pending against him and he had 48 hours to respond.  She said her name was Courtney Lawson  with a County Case number, but could not understand what county - and couldn't find any county in Florida that sounded anything like the county she gave.

i got a call from bcn claims service i thought it was scam i hung up and found out 3 days later sheriffs came to my place of employment to serve me with a summons. to appear in court on the matter i was embarassed not only that my boss questioned what was going on i nearly loss my job before my court date i tried to contact them back for an settlemnt and the stated it was non valid now im dealing with a defult judgement orded by the judge.......this is not a scam

They are attempting to collect time barred debt.  If BCN contacts you claiming they are trying to help you stay out of court, get the case number and call your local courthouse.  You won't find anything because they can't legally sue you.  Do yourselves a favor and do some research prior to making ANY financial arrangements with these scammers.

Like others, this company calls that there is a civil complaint filed against my wife. Inspector "Debbie" refused to release the case number or where it was filed. Funny thing is BCN Financial plays both sides of the game: debt collection for credit card companies as well as offering to "clean up" your credit and sending out "no contact" letters.

Owner of this peachy company is a Darren Abrams. Fool shouldn't have used his home address 2876 Hosta Dr, Charlotte, NC to register his company. I hope he enjoys my calls to his house. And I really hope he enjoys explaining his business procedures to the NC Attorney General.

I live in Houston, Texas.  They called my mom's house (TX) and my sister's house (TX).  My sister was a recent victim of Identity Theft. They got my  mom's info and now they seem to be trying to get to me claiming that they are going to have me arrested for some sort of civil claim.  This should be interesting since I am a cop.  And I am very easy to get in touch with so if this were real, I would have gotten some other form of notification.  The caller claims BCN and her name is given as Courtney Lawson from 866-545-9413.  The owner of the business listed on the BBB is Mark Coulston.  I went to intelius.com and looked up MC and there isn't one that even lives in NC. I looked up Courtney Lawson as well and lo and behold!! The address is shared with many businesses including a UPS office and a Mail Boxes ETC.  But no BCN listed. 7209J E WT Harris Blvd. ste 121 Charlote NC 28227.  Also note that there is an apartment complex that shares this address of 7209. How convenient! I have filed complaints with the BBB, the FTC and the AG's office here in Texas and NC with all of thier alleged information.  I suggest you do the same. I can't help but wonder if the female caller also stole Courtney Lawson's identity..I guess the FTC will work it all out now!

Well it appears that both of their websites are off line.  Research it and find that the company has moved to New York!!!!

actually the number has now changed to 888-223-4801 and they have changed the name of the company to bcnrecovery they do this every few months perhaps to complicate being prosecuted for harassment call your local attorney general's office if they call you they are neither attorneys or licensed collectors ans should not be doing collections period much less for a fake debt call your state's attorney general's office right away

i have called information on darren abrams in charlotte, nc at 2876 hosta dr. there is no listing or any abrams in charlotte, nc. this is a complete scam. they will call all of your family so beware of this company that works out of there apts.

this is a complete scam. I was recently called from 18882234801 it was man named chris davenport. he was adiment about harrasing me and my family. do not give any info to them.

YOU ARE A  WHAT I CALL A PROFESSIONAL DEBTOR.  PAY YOUR BILLS AND STAY AWAY FROM PAYDAY LOANS. THATS WHAT DEBTORS DON'T TELL YOU. THEY NEVER SAY THAT THIS IS A DEBT THAT THEY REALLY OWE. IF THEY DIDNT OWE ANYBODY NONBODY WOULD LIKE BCN OR WHOEVER THEY ARE WOULD BE CALLING YOU. AGREE????

The scam are the people who took out the loans and didn't pay them back. They can sue you although it would be a waste of time. Companies who loan you the money send you to collections or to BCN and let them deal with the headache. And if it was a scam why does it get removed from your credit score once you provide proof of payment? You scammed someone now your playing victim. I had to post this because we as people always want something for free. Just pay your debt because they had to pay for your debt to the company you owed!

They have your info on file as well so it can't be that much of a scam.
