The person from number (866) 551-7325 claims his name is Wesley Lamarr and that he is calling to collect a debt on behalf of a company called Advance Me Today. So that there was no misconception I proceeded to ask this man what was the name of his business he was call from and he stated Advance Me Today.I then informed this man that I owed no debt to this company and he became irate and threatened to call my place of business. I also asked this man to provide me with written proof via US postal service of this so called debt and he sounded really agitated. He first tried to talk over me but to no avail. I then proceeded to ask for an address to this business and he refused to give it to me and hung up the phone. I proceeded to call this number back and received a recording stating that the name of this company is AMC Recoveries. I made one more attempt to call this number again and the same man threatened to sue me for harassment. Go figure.

I received a call from a Darius, who claimed to be a collector with a company AMT (advance ne today) he said that I owed them alot of money and that they would settle for 500 hundred. He told me that they would sue me if I did not pay. He claimed to be with the collections department. I was shocked to find out they had all of my information. I was very scared to learn this. They are threatning to take me to court.

Also got a call from this number from Advance Me Today saying I owed them money and they would garnish my wages. Legally they can not do that under the Fair Debt Collection Act, so if you get a call from them, report them to www.ftc.gov.

A friggin' SCAM!

They called me today but left no message.  I have had previous calls from Advance Me Today and emails.  I tried to email and call them for an address to send a police report to but they won't give me an address.  I have had my identity stolen and can't get rid of them.  Had no problem with the IRS or two other collection agencies though.  Go figure.

They called my employer saying that they were coming to my job. They have other numbers they use also, 877-614-4934, 855-420-2624

I just received the same phone call from 866-551-7325 saying it was from Advance me today, it was odd to hear that I have owed money from this payday loan because i have proof that I have paid them off and owe nothing so for this is a scam

Got a call at my job and told them i do not work here they hung up on me and when i called back number is disconnected.  I have read the other posts and i have never heard of advance me now i do not owe this place they would not tell me who they were over the phone.
