I received a call from a lady at this number and she was very rude.  I wanted to know more and she wouldn't or couldn't explain it to me so why doesn't everyone call her instead.  I just called the number and they want you to enter an ext. number (her's is 8511).

This is a flat out scam it looks like, I found a story in a newspaper giving this same # as the one that called them... The man who called us left the extension 8519.

In this article the people calling claimed to be working for the IRS and were announcing bailout money and tax credits for business. They just needed some of your information. It says its a phishing scam trying to get private business information, much like identity theft on a business level.

They called asking for like 5 different titles, may we speak with the owner, manager, building manager, ceo, person in charge of taxes....Since we already pay the account of our choice we will not hire on someone who calls us from an 800# anyway.

I constantly receive calls from this number, even though our number is on the "do not call" registry.  I don't answer it because it is an 866 number. I also tried to call it back to see who it was, but kept getting hung up on.  Annoying!!!

This number calls every week asking for the CFO, Accounts Payable person, whoever handles our
federal taxes, so on and so on....! Every week we hangup on them or put them inot voice mail(
which they never leave a message) hoping they will eventually STOP.

Got a call from caller ID 866-569-4303.  Message for return phone number was 866-569-4303 ext. 8510.  Message said worked for Chris Brodsky’s office.  When I call backed (after I had goggle for info about this number) she said she worked for Tim Hare's office.  I asked who is Tim Hare; she said he is a [Indiana] "stimulus advisor".  I asked who Chris Brodsky was and she replied he is also a stimulus advisor.  I pressed for her location; she said Indiana.  I asked for her to narrow it and she said Indianapolis.  I asked for a street address and she said she could not give me that information.  I asked why, and she said her company just sets up appointments.  I asked her who her company is; after some back and forth, I told her I had asked her four times who her company is and she still has not answered the question.  She finally hung up on me.

Apparently no one on these postings has ever let them actually come out to your office and meet with you.   They didn't ask for a bunch of personal info over the phone, they asked me a couple of questions and then scheduled a time to come out and meet.   They were very professional.    

Once they came out they looked into the R&D Tax Credit for our company, and a Property Tax Reduction.     Not sure who thought this was a scam.... but the R&D Tax Credit is all over the news, even the President talks about it.

This is a complete scam.  They want you to pay them to get your money???   Even while talking to them I said I looked up your number and this is a sales call and not interested.  Got nasty with me and I told them now interested..  

Not a scam these people need to make a living  maybe if u listen  they never say they work for the government or the irs  maybe because they are so professional  they gave u that impression  i was pleased with the caller and the refund

You kniw who the number belongs to and you are pleased with them. So why are you looking the  number up on a site for reporting scam and unwanted calls?  Perhaps you should check out the word "shillW in the dictionary.
