Simm Associates is an aggressive debt collection agency located in Newark, DE.  They have a horrible reputation for hounding clients for payment of debts for which they have no documentation.  They will start with cell phones, then contact you by mail, then move to land line harassment.

You may contact them by mail (certified, return receipt requested)and order them to cease and desist the phone calls.  If they continue to hound you, contact your state's Attorney General, the FTC and a good lawyer.  You have a slam-dunk lawsuit against them.

Thank you for posting. They have been calling my cell phone, my husband's cell phone, and my husband's family repeatedly regarding my sister. We have told them to remove us from their list repeatedly as we have nothing to do with this debt. I did some research on debt collection and found that they are not allowed to contact a third party more than once,  so I will be sending them a letter and reporting them.

I've been receiving phone calls now for over a month. This is harrassement.

Called again for my deadbeat exhusband and some outstanding debt? Told them to remove my contact info and gave them all of his current contact info, including his job.

They repeatedly call and leave no message.

They have been calling early in the morning....like 7am and often after 8pm at night.  My phone has been listing them as spam. Thus, I have not answered. If they are debt collectors, what steps does one take as they are calling at illegal times to do so.

I am wondering if I have to provide my personal information because whenever they call, they want me to verify my SS DOB etc … so it was my first time so I didn’t provided

If you want to find out what they are calling about then yes, you will have to provide that.
