Just called (before 9am local time!)

Didn't leave a message.

They did leave a message. Turned out to be Sam's Club calling for a survey regarding a service contract issue that I recently initiated.

They called and didn't leave a message.  I called back and it said it was a "message retrieval center" and I was to enter a code.  Since they didn't leave a message, I didn't have a code.

Same thing, got a call twice in the same day, no message, number just goes to message retrieval center.

This was an automated call to my cell phone.  It said my first name and asked me to press 1 if it was me.  I did.  It then said it was calling about my "service call" to WalMart.  It asked me to press 2 if I did not want to receive similar calls in the future.  I didn't press anything.  It said it was calling about the Walmart product replacement plan.  ***The only thing I can figure is that I recently made some purchases at SAMS CLUB and purchased the extended warranty plans for these products.  On the day of my purchases I called the warranty service and registered these products using my name and cell phone number.  They are now apparently using that information to telephone me.  I really didn't want to be bothered by an automated phone call, so I hung up.

Received a call from this # ( did not answer) same day I requested a warranty service with Sams club

I got one too. I recently filed a claim with Office Max about a broken computer.

Probably a bill collector they can call from 8 am to 9 pm
