This is a collection agency. The debt they are trying to collect from us is not valid. They are asking for SS#'s and other personal info, do not give it.
Watch for a letter in the mail.

called at 5:10pm 8-14-08 started to leave message "this is not a telemarketing call, we are trying to reach "my name".

Also have gotten a 866-595-6803 call. The call came in on one of my home lines, but not the one I use for my billing. I would think if they were collecting something I owe for they would call the number I gave them?! Right?

computer generated call on Saturday morning 11:22 AM PDT on 9/6/08.  41 second message with both my first and last name coming out of virtualized speech plugin.  Encouraging me to call back the number 866-595-6803.  

To investigate I did this on another line.  The switch board message is "Welcome to ERS...if you know your party's extension please enter it now otherwise you will transferred to a representative..Your call will be recorded for quality assurance."  well it went to the switch board.  I did not leave a messge.

Did quick search for ERS...one of the hits was a national super collection agency called ER Solutions (subsidiary of CRI) with offices in Renton,WA, Phoenix, AZ, Atlanta,GA, Houston,TX, and Montgomery, AL. But their 800 numbers did not match this..could be some other entity.
I'm not sure what scam these guys are running, but they are 1) violating my DONOTCALL rights; and 2) clearly phishing.  I don't know from which other scumbags they got my name and phone number either.

Report them to your local authorities as I will do...Block their number and if you get a similar call, above all don't give back any information, even to return the call as this may verify for them they hit the party they think they did.

Something like "this is not a telemarketing call, we are trying to reach "my name", please call 866 595 6803.

I googled the number before trying to call them but thanks to you all I know it's a phishing number.  I don't have any debts and am surprised they found my name.

This a bunch of low-life, bottom-feeding scum-bags doing business as Enterprise Recovery Systems at 2400 Wolf Rd #200, Westchester, IL, 60154, PH: 630-574-3113. They buy up out-of-statute debts and then try to harass you into paying. DO NOT call them back, NEVER give them any information of any kind. If they write you, which is doubtful that any of them can write, immediately send a cease communications letter.

they call my home for years now, but ask for someone else's name (on a taped message) so I haven't paid attention to it. But now I'm definitely fed up. I once called the number back but no-one answered. Glad to hear from all of you that it is a phishing numbeR, I'm going to block it.

I have also been harassed by this people for a long time; they call day or night; my mother is sick and in pain, she takes her medicine to try to sleep, but a lot of times they wake her up ... I found this site, it's called CONSUMER JUSTICE, it gives advice and a sample letter to send to the agency ...

These people call here all the time time and never leave a message.
We DON'T answer the phone for any 866 area codes.

I get a call from these people at least once a week.  They are calling the house phone which doesn't even belong to me and I NEVER give out as my number, EVER !! What the hell do they want ?? I don't have ANY past bills that haven't been paid and all credit cards and car payments are up to date and never been late !!
Only thing I can think of, is that they are trying to scam money from me but I can't get anyone to answer when I call it back.
