calls & hangs up every day..

This is a subcontractor telemarketing for Verizon trying to get you to upgrade or renew your contract.  I emailed Verizon directly today after receiving 9 calls this month from this number.  Within a couple hours a customer service rep from Verizon called me and confirmed this.  She also said that you can contact Verizon and request that you do not want to receive solicitory phone calls from them and they will be blocked.

Rec'd call from this phone numbner at 6:38 PM on March 11, 2009.  I didn't pick up the phone and no one left a voice mail message.

i got a call from this number 866-600-5092 mar 13, 3:46 2 rings and hung up with no message.

I have been receiving the same call all week.  I talked with Verizon today and they said that it's their marketing department and they'll call around the time you're eligible for a new phone or contract (which I am in two weeks).  She said you can be removed from their calling list.  She said it takes up to 72 hours to take effect.  In my opinion, it's worth the call to have the unknown calls stop.

Ha!   I have set this number to call forward back to Verizon Wireless Sales.
They have been ringing my phone daily for last few days. Now they can get a
taste of their own medicine!

I've had call's from this number practically everyday! I use to be a Verizon wireless customer and use to get this call. Now, I am no longer with Verizon but still get this call...

Get this number calling me every day every few weeks.  Never answer it, always wondered who it is.  Glad to know now who it is, and more importantly how to make it stop!

I called Verizon, they have their own personal do not call list which you have to sign up for.  I told them if I received another call from this number, I would call the Better Business Bureau.

I said its ridiculous for the company I already pay service for calls to sell me on more stuff.  Never again.  

She put me on their PERMANENT do not call list, we'll see how long that lasts!

it was my turn tonight @ 8:10pm EDT. Ni CID name, NO AMSWER. Been with Verizon too long anyway. Neighbors have other servicers for Internet/TV/PH, can't stand Verizon's competition

I am called by this number repeatedly, often around 6:30 am. I asked them to remove me from their call list, but they refused unless I gave them my address...presumably so they could start sending me junkmail instead. So I ended up reporting them to the Do Not Call registry. Who knows if that will do any good.

I have NEVER been a customer of Verizon Wireless...and the funny thing is, I'm looking for a new provider but I will NEVER go with Verizon because of their annoying telemarketers.

My phone is up for the new every 2 in less than a month so I'm not surprised they are calling me, but I've yet to talk to anyone as they just hang up.  I wonder if they are compensated for call volume and not call connections.

This number calls on a daily basis. And, since I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it. Instead, I wait for the person calling to leave a voice mail, but that has yet to happen.

Three calls, three days in a row, no message, just hangs up. Pain in the ....
