Keeps calling and I don't answer no 800 ~ 866 numbers

866-626-6106 is NCO Financial Systems and they are a collection agency.

They have a weird practice of calling you, then making you verify your identification with personal information. Feels like phishing.

However, we told them to mail us stuff and they did. Suggest you do the same.

It is a valid company.  NCO Financial.  They are a debt collection agency.  I have been getting calls from them for the last few weeks.  Today they left a real message with a call back number.  I have a $60 medical bill that is a screw up by my insurance company that was turned over for collection.  I had no idea it was never taken care of.  Might be a good idea to talk to these people.  This is on my credit bureau now and it was not even my fault.

They are a collection agency and they call my number so much I've decided to unhook my answering machine. I called them and told them to stop calling my number as I am not the person they are looking for. They refuse. I'm ready to change my number because of these jerks.

1st they wouldn't say who they were, and asked me information like my date of birth. I knew i was in for some kind of whacko call at this point. Finally after a while she admitted i didnt need to tell her my DOB we could use something else.... wow, isn't that nice of her? Then after we figure out that she's talking to me, she starts demanding answers about my finances.

These creeps called me about a recent hospital bill it turns out. I told them that I had been very ill, and that i applied for Medicaid, and they said i "probably" have cancer - back in April (to be fair, my doctor thinks i have some rare disease and i'll just "wish i was dead", but the hospital won't take me for tests unless i pay cash up front,  like i have that much money).  She said she'll mark me down as "refusing to pay", but I told her I'm kinda not working - you know "probably" having cancer makes you feel a tad under the weather, and I dont quite work like i should. no insurance to pay for testing, so i am in some kind of limbo until i keel over i guess, but i cant pay her thousands right this second.... and she says "you refuse to pay or make arrangements, i'll mark that down"... of course, if you can read, you'll know that's not quite what i said, but i just doubt on my income they would be very happy... few hundred last month...

but then you know what? I thought about it. i'm gonna die anyway most liekly or be terminal by the time medicaid kicks in, and i'm never gonna have anything ever again for as long as i last anyway, and there's nothing left that i havent sold... so i told her where to go, what can she do?

Over 3 months, I've received calls of harassment from this company, all throughout the times of the day.
They keep asking for ROSARIO! Who is that?! When I eventually got to speak with a Representative she was extremely rude and told me to calm down.
This company needs to be put to a stop, after years of illegal debt collecting and harassing practices.

Well as for me, when I started getting phone calls like this, I turned it back over to my telephone service.  Telling them that as a customer, I am paying for a clean phone line.  And if the want to keep me as a customer, it is up to them to correct the problem.  So I provide the number, and the name of the person that the finance company is looking for.  Those calls stopped right away.
Now then, if it happens again from those same companies, I know only have my testimony but also now the telephone company and records, should I need to take court action.  Remember, its an automatic $500 award from the courts to you.  So follow the steps, and get your phone company included into fixing the problems.  If enough people do this, we will stop companies like them from calls...........  Its up to you people...........  take it for what its worth, to you!!!!!!
