This can't be legit. They asked for my birthdate and last 4 digits of my social security number.  I refused.  They said they were a collection agency, but I have no accounts in collections.

Me too!  Just got a recorded call from them today.  Left message saying they were collection agency.  I have no outstanding debt.  I returned the call to just in case to see who I was suppose to owe money to... The guy "Craig Thompson" answered and new my name immediately without me providing the ID# they had left on the recording.  I suppose they have caller ID, but found that even more odd.  He then asked for my birthdate.  I replied, "I will not give you any information.  I have no debt.  If you can supply me with the company to whom I owe money I will handle it from there."  His reply was, "We mailed something to you three days ago in a plain envelope."  Welp... nothing in the mail today either... seems odd it would take any longer.  I really believe this is a scam!

Same story. Thank God for you guys or I'd have given them my card number. But twice this mo. I've been scammed already, I know. I'm starting to get the hint. Unfortunately I already gave them my new address and birthdate. What can they do now? I plan on leading them astray when they call me back and telling them I don't know who they spoke with before but my address is....(fake one) and tell them they have the wrong person. In hopes that they change the real info.....ehh

Got the same call today and didn't answer. I owe nothing so I know it's a scam. A few minutes before I got this call I got a call from an Alabama number that I answered because I have friends there. The person asked for someone who doesn't live here. I have a feeling the calls were connected. My number is unlisted.

866-637-0270 pretending to be a collections company.   They're scam artists.  They ask for financial & confidential information. They're pushy & use threatening tactics to get any information they can.  When we asked who they are, they said "NCO" and that we knew who they are - when we've never heard of them.  Do NOT give them any information because if you do, you become a victim of identity theft too.  By the way - we're debt free.

Fraud company collecting social security numbers, birthdates, full names, pretending to be "debt collections."  Do not give your stats out to them.  Otherwise, you're facing identity theft!!
