Left recording, said from United Healthcare

Received voicemail from this number. Reportedly from United Healthcare with a pin number and request to call back. I did call back. It knew my name and did not ask for the pin but for my date of birth. I then said it confirmed my identity. Next, it told me about access to info about high blood pressure (for which I take medication). Then it asked if I had taken my blood pressure in the last three months. I said yes and it then asked me to enter the numbers.  That's when I had had enough.  I called customer service at UHC and they claim they've never heard of such a thing. Clearly that's crap as there are lots of things online reporting the same robocall. SO, while they may not have originated it (which I kind of think they did) they DO know about it since there have been several complaints.

Got this also and a ignore them now. Its  a ploy by the Health Care giant.  They are always looking for ways to deny something. Then later they will say we didn't call back.  When I refuse to take a survey when calling for example the call disconnects. Never get a call back when I do ask on their surveys.  Wish I had a better option for insurance but they are the cheaper (for now).

it's UHC calling for any number of things, but it IS also a robo-call, and they ask you to verify who you are, then to verify your date of birth.... they call my house every fuc*ing day to "offer me a valuable service" and they're trying to get me sign up to some nurse/care line program... doesn't cost anything, but it's just some bullsh*t program where they are trying to get you to manage whatever condition you have

This number calls and leaves a message every day using my name.  I have attempted to block this number but they continue to call.

Numerous calls from this so called United Healthcare 1800 service,wanting my date of birth in order to give me important information regarding my insurance. It is NOT United Health Care,I called them and they know nothing about this. It is a SCAM in order to get personal identification.

Any Health Care and insurance company will send changes and important information via the mail. I want this number 866 640 7778 reported to The Attorney Generals Office consumer fraud division.

I want these calls to stop.

Received robo voice message from United Healthcare asking me to call 866-640-7778 and to enter a seven digit pin provided.  I called United Healthcare using a phone number from the back of my coverage card.  The only thing the customer service rep could find was that there was a robo call campaign to let insureds know of various benefits available through my company's plan.  I will NOT be calling to find out.  With people's identity being stolen constantly, this is about as stupid a way to handle this as can be imagined.  And like a previous commenter, I don't believe their motivation is truly for my benefit.

I got this recording on my WORK VOICEMAIL, which makes absolutely no sense. UHC should not be calling me about personal medical matters at my work. I have concluded it is a scam. DO NOT CALL THEM BACK!

Left voice mail message saying it was United Healthcare with important info and gave a code to use when I call back.  This has been going on several years, guess it’s back again.  Blocked the number.
