Ya since I donated to Haiti for Unicef I've been getting these calls about once a month to two months asking for more donations.

UNICEF, get a call from them 3 or 4 times a year

They are calling non stop, its getting very aggrivating. They call from 8am till 8pm, answered once and said I was the babysitter and the guy on the other end swore and hung up.

once in awhile i receive calls fron this phone number unwanted . i dont answer  and they dont leave message.

Calls multiple times a day, every day of the week, and never leaves a message. I called the number back and got a message saying they are a fundraising company, but doesn't give a name of a company and the message begins in French. Someone picked up the phone and hung up immediately.

I've tried to block this number numerous times and the call still comes through. I'm on the "do not call" list as well. I've filed a complaint with the registry. Super annoying! Getting ready to tell them off the next time they call........

The first time they called, I picked up. They said it was about my UNICEF donations. I told them I was busy, and that I would call back tomorrow around a certain time. They gave me a sketchy answer saying they weren't open at that time ( That time being 1 pm!!!) and that they would call back at 1:30.

They have called back every day since, never leaving a message. I refuse to answer.

Called my land-line at 19:34 Pacific.  I was out, and did not answer.  No message was left on my answering machine.

The number is for a telemarketing company based out of Toronto.  They try to raise funds by soliciting members of Plan Canada, Red Cross, UNICEF and various other charities.

It's not acceptable to do business this way.  These days, how can you be sure the person calling you is legitimate?  So much telemarketing fraud going around, I refuse to answer these calls.

If everyone stops answering these calls, perhaps telemarketing will just go away.

They call my cell a few times per week. I've never answered and they've never left a message.

Interesting to know that I am not the only one receiving a call from them. They have been calling at least once or twice a day for the last week and have never left a msg. Figured i'd google the united states number as i am in canada and found this webpage

hey thanks for that.  I went to their web site and took a look at their clients,  found mine and emailed them to see if they could do anything to stop the calls.  I would put more trust in appealing to the clients to do something than asking fundraising direct to stop.  I will try and get back to you and let you know if it worked.

As I donated to UNICEF, they call regularly and ask for more donation, and I said my English is not very well so they hanged up the phone:)

I had been getting calls and no messages as well from this number, I answered this evening because I was curious who it was.  They said they represented UNICEF - and that he was calling from the UK and that it was early in his day and that he really wanted a pledge.  I said that I would reinstate my monthly donation via the website and didn't feel comfortable giving my personal information over the phone.  He then tried to persuade me and asked odd questions...the call lasted longer than it should have.  Very weird experience.

Called purporting to be from "doctors without borders" whom I regularly support. Caller mispronounced my last name (it's really an easy one syllable name) which should have tipped me off. I notice that other comments mention UNICEF.  Safe to say that this caller doesn't rep either charity.
