Nicole Baptize called and said she was with FIA Card Services and was calling about an ongoing issue with my Visa credit card.  But in order to confirm my identity she wanted to know my birthdate or place of birth.  I asked her to give me the credit card number or last 4 digits of the number and she said she couldn't do that until I confirmed my identity.  Since I didn't know her and it was an unsolicited call I told her that I wouldn't give her that information and that she should have Visa call me themselves.  She said she would pass it on and that I should contact Visa myself, which I did and there was no problem with my account.

I suspect the call was an attempt to steel my identity for some fraudulent reason.

I just had the same experience only my caller said he was from SI Card Services.

Any idea who SI Card Services is?  Phone number on caller ID doesn't match the phone number they left in voicemail.  Phone number keeps coming up on my work phone and cell phone but I've seen and heard to many stories about identity theft and scammers that I don't dare call them back.  I know I have no issues with my cc's so you're out of luck SI!!  Not getting any money or info out of me!!
