The number belongs to 'Nationwide Credit'.  It seems to be an auto-dialer, since I get a call every day around the same time, which I never answer, since I am at work.  I called the number back when I got home and it says it’s ‘nationwide credit’.  Nobody answered, so I left a message telling them to stop calling my number.  It’s probably one of those stupid 'you have been pre-approved' calls.  I have no credit card debt, so it's not a collector.  I listed my cell phone on the 'do not call' registry in May 2010, and they are not supposed to call, so I filed a complaint on the 'do not call' registry website (https://www.donotcall.gov), and I mentioned that I filed a complaint when I left them my voicemail message. We’ll see what happens.

They are calling my employer and asking questions to the receptionist about my work hours, if I work everyday etc The receptionist didn't provide information only that I do work there. They didn't want to leave information about them but the company has caller ID and the receptionist provided me the number of the caller. The receptionist end up hanging up the phone on them.
They are jeopardizing my job.

they called my work earlier and my secretary took a message. She said her name was "Perpetual Becofta" and then asked for my work hours and my cell phone or home phone number which of course my secretary did not give them. When I called the number back, a gentleman with an Indian accent answered and I asked for Perpetual Becofta. He said he was going to put me on hold and get her but first he needed to know which number I was calling from...at this point I figured it was some sort of scam so I hung up. The last few days, I have been bothered by other calls from Justin, Jason and Steven all three with Indian accents calling from a different phone number though...but threatening me about a debt that is not even mine...I just figured it was related!

1st off, I NEVER answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I let them go to voice mail. When I get no voice mail from these odd numbers, I come here to check the caller. 99% of the time it's scammers, creditors, or solicitors. So I then enter their number into my caller blacklist, and that's the end of that!
   I too am listed on the National DO NOT CALL LIST, but these crappy-ass jerks don't obey the law anyway.......

Looks like this number is back in rotation.  Just got a call from them, but I did not answer.  This week I’ve been slammed with various callers from numbers like this, all of them apparently scammers.  At least according to web pages like these.

Recorded woman's voice sounds real but is a recording she asks for a John then says maybe you can help me. Looking for donations for breast cancer, doesn't sound legit.

calling constantly but they ask for someone by another name/      I have explained this fact about 8 times and they ignore me and keep calling me constantly with no regard for the fact that I am not the person they are looking for.       I have reported them numerous times

Received a call from this number and I want to know why

I called late at night so they wouldn't answer in person.Nationwide Credit. No bills here. Auto caller after 9am anytime during day.
