Report a phone call from 866-660-1626 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- DI didn't get a call from this number, however, I did get an e-mail which read "Your account with was sent to National Credit Adjusters 866-660-1626. Thank you, FTPIC". Funny, that the original company I supposedly had the account with is not listed. I've received two of these e-mails so far. I can only assume it's a scam otherwise there would be some additional information as to the original account. I'm assuming it is National Credit Adjusters but the signature "FTPIC" doesn't match up. Who knows.

- JewelzI actually got the same email, called the number and immediately after the lady stated her name was "Tracy", she declared that I give her my social security number. Funny how the only way she could pull my "account" up was with my ss# and not the applicant # listed in the email. End result, "Tracy" met Mr. Dail Tone. SMH!!!

Some of the things that a bill collector can't do are making repeated and continuous phone calls. They can't threaten you and they cannot tell a third party about your past due bills. If this has happened to you, Consumer Credit Helpers can assist you for no monies out of your pocket- Caller: NCA

- Sheila M| 2 repliesGot this email two days a go and then a phone call today from a lady who told me that I have a debt (which I do owe) and she was calling (at my work) to inform me that she would be delivering me a supeona with two local law authorities. I asked her company and she told me I have the right to speak to the legal departmetn and then she gave me another number. When I asked who it was for she said she didn't know, when I asked how much was owed she again didn't know but encouraged me to contact legal. I checked my phone and I did recieve an unknown caller (ID blocked). I then called the company number she gave me and they stated that I was being sued for fraud because of a bad debt to a company. "Dave" pressured me by stating "We can solve this two ways. Either you pay the amount owed right now or you can go through the legal process and then you will have to go to court and miss work, pay all legal and court costs, pay server fees and it will cost you well over $2500.00." This company already had my information. They then wanted me to make a "good faith payment" to sshow my intentions while they make a new contract. I told them I didn't have it and that I could afford $40 every two weeks because I am a single mom to a disabled child. "Dave" then put me on hold and some guy named "Jason/Jay" picked up. He told me he could do nothing to help me with that money and I had to the end of the day to either pay him the full amount or agree to the payment plan. I told him I did not have it and he continued to harass me with a supoena and a possible arrest. I asked him if he was refusing my payment arrangement and he stated he could not help me. He then continued to say "I have already explained this to you and I am not going to keep going over it again and again. We are a law company representing **** and not a collection company. I am authorized 90 days to collect this debt. I am not going to keep repeating myself." and then he hung up. Guess what? No supoena came today (as stated). I am wondering though, I live in PA and do they supeona a debt collection with the police? I never recieved any mailings or letters. Anyone know?

- debbieI received 2 emails stating that they sent me to a debt collector with a phone number of 866-660-1626 for jhs and vandliler. - Joshua replies to Sheila MI got the same call. I read that a company could not file charges for a bad check, because they already knew that the borrower(you) did not have any money. Did they state that they were from Allstate Check Services? I checked around, but the company does not exist anywhere, under any listing.
- in for mer replies to Sheila MDo not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
Report the call. Contact the Consumer Credit Helpers at 855-672-1988 with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. They will get the collection calls to stop .they helped me two months ago! Wonderful Service - CTuckerA lady name Vanessa called my Job and wanted to speak to my supervisor - - I later found out she was from the NCA. I told her she should not call me on my job and that I had the right to request that she not contact me on my job. She argued that she could and would continue to do so. She the n proceeded to threaten me with arrest, lawsuits wanting me to make payment arrangements. She was just nasty, would not let me talk - talked all over whatever I was trying to say. I told her I was going to report her to my state consumer affairs dept, the BBB and the FTC. It was like pulling teeth to get her to tell what company she was with - - she kept saying we are going to mail you a letter- no letter but I did get an e-mail which read "Your account with us was sent to National Credit Adjusters 866-660-1626. Thank you, FTPIC."

- MelissaTook an internet loan out with Anasi Group LLC. after a month I got an email that stated I had been sent to collections with National Credit Adjusters. Shortly there after I started to receive calls at my work from a Mark Cooper with a heavy accent. he first said he was from the legal department and I was facing 3 serious charges if I didn't pay him 400. I bought my self some time so I could research the matter when I got off of work. I called the original loan company and they do not even have a record of me getting the loan in the first place, I also looked up info for NCA and called them, they also have no record for me. In fact the account numbers that are on my paperwork (what there is of it) are apparently not legitimate account numbers for their company. I have a million emails back and forth from these companies to fall back on that even state that there is no record of me. The guy that calls at least 15 times a day goes from rude to angry, to calling me sweetheart, then calls again and pretends it wasn't him that had called earlier in the day.
