they called my daughter and said they had been trying to reach me to serve me with papers I have never heard of this company. If they can get my daughters info why not mine? I am not calling them. She gave them my address.

Received voicemail from a male caller, calling for my sons name, who hasn't lived with me in over 25 years, identifying himself as William Golden of Philips and Burns law office regarding claim # 6836-95. Requested I call to settle out of court. Have no idea what he is talking about.

I have recived two calls, the latest from a male voice who says he is William Golden of Phillips and Burns. He asked for a woman who is known to me but not affiliated with me. He asked for her and/or her attorney to call his at 1-866-660-1627 Ext 305 to settle a claim out of court. He purports himself to be an attorney. The othr call I recived was from 1-866-480-0992- Ext 307, wherer he used another name but was the same voice. When I spoken to callers direct I have demanded that they remove my number from the list and not call. Each time I ma assured that they will do so. Yet the calls have continued for at least two years.

I just received a call on my cell phone from this guy who gave me a claim number was trying to reach an ex g/f of mine.  We've been apart for a some time.  If they're trying to serve her papers for something, I most certainly am not relaying the information.  Does anyone know if this is a legitimate law office or some kind of con?

This company is a scam. They pretend to be an attorney office. They are a rip off. They are nothing but a collection agency. They were calling for my grandson. Told me all his business, and I told them over and over that I didn't see my grandson in years. They said I am a stupid old man and when my grandson goes to jail, I will be happy at that time. The guy who called is William Golden. We called the number back, and the girl who answered the phone said, "Let me get William for you, sir," and didn't put the phone on hold and was asking someone where is Steve? He got a call, so I hung up and called back in and asked for Steve. And guess what? There was a Steve there. So I asked the young man who answered, I told him I have to send something to Steve and I need his last name; it's personal. And he started spelling the name for me: "Slish." William Golden is Steve Slish. How fake is this? I called Steve back and said, "May I speak with William?" And they transferred me to him, and he said, "This is William. How may I help you?" And I then said, "Hey Steve, how are you?" He said, "Good. How can I help you?" And I hung up!!!!! Be careful with these jerks. They are a bunch of rip offs.

when i was talking to him he put william golden/goldberg or some one on the phone he was a [***] stupid could not even spell his own name telling me about they are going to take me to court i was recording the call and when i told them that they hung up ... they will get whats coming to them for abuse .... they are a scam SCAM SCAM SCAM PHILLIPS AND BURNS SCAM

got a message from 1-866-660-1627 ext. 236. The person said it was Carli Snyder. She even left a case number and that I needed to call ASAP to find out.  This is P & B harassing people again.  I am writing this as a comment to document that the call was made on the day before Labor Day 2009.  Now the whole world can tell that this collection agency is just hanging themselves!!!!!

Caller hung up and told me she'd see us in court when I told her to quit calling without further written doucmentation of their claim.

Someone calling himself Andrew Foreman calls several times a week, and when I did pick up the phone last week, he demanded my father-in-law's birthday, when I refused he told me he wasn't playing my games, he would call again and hung up on me.  Today there's another message from him.  I'm reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau and my state Attorney General's Office.  How can they let people get away with this over and over?

They refuse to stop calling my father who lives in another state and recently lost his wife after 40 years, regarding my file.

I got a call from 866-660-1627 etx108. Say that this is the number that said client gave them. Well I said I dont know them. And they told me they would keep calling my number till they got the right person. HOW DUMB!!!!!!!!! I have caller ID and it comes up restricted. They gave me a number for the person to call. They have called me like 5 time today.

I am in a similar situation. I have been making payments for over a year. However, I've never received proof of payments. The current representative handling my case said he would send receipts and a letter indicating the remaining balance. To date, I have not received anything. Luckily, I have my bank statements. This is a good thing but it is also bad because they have (well now HAD) access to my bank account. My biggest mistake was giving them this information because in good will, I really wanted to resolve this debt. According to my records, the debt was paid in full July 2009. However, the representative said that I would be done in November. I recently called the general information number because I've called him numerous times but have yet to hear from him. I was informed he no longer works there.

"Mrs Williams" called me today saying she needed my attorney's number....She spoke incredibly fast and was difficult to understand.

BTW I love this website. It keeps my mind at ease. I cannot believe the amount of these "collecton agencies" are out there trying to scam people. What i'd love to know is how exactly they find my number. I only have a cell phone and give it out to NOONE if I don't know them. SO has my mobile carrier sold my number to these [***]?

Also if you look at P&B's website they have a blurb on there about being careful about what you read on blogging sites..LOL nothing like a little damage control...

Got a call from 224-588-5682 (Wheeling, IL) which when I answered said it for me and then some lady by the name of Flesha (she spelled it) said she had a case number that was put against me and I was to call back to 866-660-1627 and the name of the company was P&B Capital Group.  Would not tell me anymore.

Left message looking for Candace Hubacek who does not live at the residence.  Also called from 813-579-9382.  Both phone numbers dial Andrew Foreman who will not identify his company or state his business.
