Recived a call from this number, they stated I need to speak with today.  Left no name.

I received a call from this number, they are KB Associates, a Paralegal/Collections Agency.  They did call in regards to a debt that I had years ago with a Jewelry Company, and it was true. I am a college student that made some big mistakes early in my credit history, and came to a point in my life where I did not have money to pay my debts, so I let this account go into default.  When Karen Kelly from KB Assoc. called she explained to me the situation and that they were handling the collection of this debt, obviously I panicked because I did not have all of the funds to cover this debt before and not even now, Karen and her team ware able to find a solution and and put me on a payment plan the suit my small income.  I was able to get in contact with them if I ran into any financial distress and they would always work with me.  

I was able to pay off my debt in good standing with this company, and was able to get fees and bad records off my credit report, Karen was very nice and understanding of my situation and worked with me all the way through the repayment.

I have read lots of bad feedback from this company, but I beg to differ on many of the incorrect statements from other people.

I got a call from this number they claimed my boyfriend owed somebody in Kentucky money and that they were gonna take it out of my account. They had my address SSN his SSn and I'am worried that they are  going to use it what do i do??

That company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau ......be careful

Received a call from this number stated his name was Chris from Rose and Associates trying to get employment info for someone I know.

I was curious about receiving a call from this number.  I received a call from a man named Chris who said he was doing employment verification for someone who has applied for employment.  Strange thing is that the person that they were doing an employment verification on was a step daughter I had about 15 years ago when she was 10 years old!!!!  Havent seen that girl in 15 years and her dad and I was only married 1 year!  We live in two entirely different parts of the company and they were fishing to see if she ever worked for me!!!!  Talk about stirring up the past!!! I kept asking what the name of the company was and he said something like "Rosenburg and Associates" I think.  Couldnt understand him and besides, I was too dumbfounded about getting this call on a girl I havent seen for 15 years who supposedly used me as a reference!!!  I later started checking out this phone number and I saw all of these comments and realize it must be some sort of scam to collect a debt on A. Lesley - the young lady the called about!  How wrong is that?  They lied to receive information that I had none to give! Crooks

Rose and Associates is apparently a 3rd party debt collection agency that purchases or otherwise handles debts form or for other parties.

About a year ago they started calling my elderly parents. When I found out about it - suffice it to say I was not happy with them when I called them.  Turns out they were trying to collect on a 10 plus year old debt.

To get them off my back and prevent them from calling my parents (again, they are old and not in the best of health) I worked out an arrangement with them even though I suspect this thing had long since been written off.  The payments were manageable but with the interest I'm sure I'd have been paying for the rest of my life.  About 4 months into the agreement, they stopped taking out the payments.

Today I received a call from them - didn't know who it was until I called back.  Person who called was "Chris" cal;ling to verify employment.  When I called back, turned out to be my old friends Rose and Associates.  They claimed to have been sending me notices to update my information.  When I asked them where they were sending these notices, they rattled off an address where I haven't lived in a decade, half way across the country.

So they claimed they would do me a favor and reinstate my payment plan.  I went for it.  I don't want to owe anything to anyone if I can help it.

Here's my take on the company.  They're a debt collector pretending to be a law office.  That's pretty typical.  They're bullies.  They'll call anyone they can to get information.  They'll threaten all kinds of things.  There are endless complaints about them on various forums.  The belligerent tone changed as soon as I said I'd make payments.  They then demanded 200 dollars today or else.  I said sorry, guess it'll have to be "or else" as I don't get paid until the 15th.  "Oh well, in that case we can hold this until the 15th if you pay 25 dollars today"   Sorry, I have about 18 bucks in the bank right now.    "Oh, ok, you can pay us 15 and we'll take the rest on the 15th..."  Sold.

My advice:  don't be afraid of these guys.  If you owe a debt and you have the ability to pay it in some fashion, work it out. You'll feel better.  But don't let them bully you.  Also, find out what your rights are, what you really owe, what legal interest can actually be charged and so on.

Sorry for the long post - writing about it is sort of cathartic.

they called me, they were rude and hung up on me, when i returned the call they didn't answer, and when they did answer they told me if wasn't calling to take care of the matter they couldn't help me and hung again

Got exact same message. Called myself and husband.  Said verifying employment for his s9n. Sounds like scam

Got the same message from Chris. Stated that he was verifying employment for my husband.

got a call said they were not sure if this was right number. doing a employment verification for a my name. guy sounded pretty professional. got my interest to call back. when i called back he said he had several people with my name. through out he knew last four of my social and i said yes that was me. then proceeded to verify employment in regards to a garnishment he was in charge of. Definitely pretended to be a law firm. said i need to get you to my paralegal to answer a few questions before. IT WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A OVERDRAMATIC ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBT FROM 15 YEARS AGO BUT THEY COME OFF AS AN ATTORNEY THAT IS MAKING DECISIONS . JUST HANG UP

This phone number called my parents last year in May demanding payment on past due account from Bank of Delaware they have now called again today 11 months later.  Threatened jail were very nasty with my folks whom I just happened to be with when this call came in.  After researching the phone number and address I found out that they are using the address of a law firm.  Called and talked with this personal injury law firm and they verified that this business was not in their building and they had never heard of them.  I placed calls with Better Business Bureau in both Colorado and my state.  Google search the address of 1600 Ogden St. Denver, Colorado and you too will see that this is a house that has been transformed into a personal injury lawyers office.  I find it completely ridiculous that they only call once a year.  Statue of limitations is up after 7 years and I have never dealt with Bank of Delaware to begin with.  Getting fed up with the harassment!!!!!

A lady named Amy called my cell phone (i have had this same number since 2004) and left a voice mail about needing to verify employment for either my brother or father (they have the same name). When I called back the guy who answered put me on hold as soon as I said Amy's name so he could "find out" which person the call was about after 5 min I heard him take me off hold, and a woman talking in the background then he hung up on me.

Chris called to verify employment 4 times.  When I pressed them, found out it was Rose & Assoc to collect a debt for a Dr. bill I know nothing about.  Claimed $141.00 bill was now up to $3000 and I needed to take care of it over the phone or they would seize my bank account or garnish my wages.  They did have my social, that bugged me.  I said no and hung up

Chris seems to be the name they use, or else its just one guy harassing a bunch of people every day.  He called me the afternoon of a holiday (Labor Day) looking for employment verification.  I told him this was a personal cell number and not a business, and after he asked again for employment verification I told him that he was not to call my cell # again.  He then proceeded to call the following morning and spew out the last 4 of a social and asked if it were mine.  I told him that he was told to not call this number again and that it was against the law to do so after being asked not to.  he tried to argue with me, but when I mentioned that he needed to provide me with compensation for violating the Do Not Call registry, as well as my personal request he hung up.

this is a planted post by the company. Dont trust this clown or anyone else from this company. I hope you all fall off a cliff
