The number called my cell and left dead air - just the number shows up. I called the number back and it's a recording for Advanced Media Group. It asks you to leave a message and someone will return your call.

Received calls all day from this number with no message left. When I called back, voicemail picked up for a Mr. Adam King with Advanced Media Group, which stated to leave a message, and someone would return my call. How do I stop these calls.

Same here, and they call me every morning at 8:30am, they suck.

Yea I get the calls about 4 to 5 times a day just about and I'm a nice guy at first saying not interested. After the next week of still calling me I told them to stop calling me and take me off the list.  What you should do is google up the "do not call list" there register your number. It takes 30 or 31 days for it to take effect. And after that the company should see you on the list and remove you. If they do not I heard that they can be charged up to 11,000 dollars per call.  So that will get their attention. And I read that it is also illegal for them to call on people's cell phone. Don't know if that's true but go to the do not call list site. Later

866-688-4222 belongs to Advanced Media Group - a Marketing company located in Phoenix, AZ.  www.theadvancedmediagroup.com    email:support@theadvancedmediagroup.com - Why they are calling us, I don't know, since they hang up once they get the answering machine.  If you don't already have the add-on service, get the option to "block calls" on your phone and block their number.  The phone will ring once and that will be it.  Your caller-id will show they called and it was blocked, so you won't get any more harassing hang ups.

I got a call today morning (Sept 4 2009) from this number. The day said her name is Keisha and asked me if I requested info about a home based business. I said I might have as I am looking for opportunities online. Immediately she disconnected the call after saying 'have a nice day'. So that is her proof that I have opted in to their lists. They need to stop harassing people.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I pick up they hang up. Who is this?

They call me every day & I don't answer.  And then today I finally call the number back & just got an answermachine to leave your name & number for them to cal you back.

they have called me meny times and this time gave in. just read the web site and canceled my membership thank you for letting use know.

I got a kick out of this. I had just finished reading the posts here when I got another call from this number. I decided to answer this time. The girl identified herself as so and so (I didn't pay attention) from Advanced Media on behalf of some other company. She mentioned that I had requested information in the past about making some money from home, which I had. Was I still interested? I told her no that our situation had entirely reversed. Her response.... oh I'm sorry about that. Have a nice day and hung up! She was sorry we no longer have financial need? Too funny.

I get calls from this number everyday, usually twice. I never answer, nor is a message left.

Adam from Advanced Media Group called my cell phone number just now.  I answered the call and he asked if I was still interested in Home-based business information.  When I told him that I had no idea what he was talking about, he asked if my name was "Michelle blah blah", I said yes, he said well you must have requested this info.  I told him that the cell phone number he had reached me on was a cell phone that my employer pays for, and that it was registered on the "Do Not Call" list.  He said, "oh whatever." and hung up on me!

Me too.  They call all hours, many times a day. Very early in the morning.   Can't talk to anyone when you call back.

They are still in business. They have been calling me 4 times a week, usually between 5 & 8 pm. They do the make big money at home routine.I played alone with them once until they started talking about buying web sites and advertisements.Ask for credit card info , thats when I hung up.....
