DirecTV number.  Called them back, was on hold, then sent to a mailbox.  Recently became a customer, but not sure why they are calling (perhaps a customer service followup).

They call all hours of the day and night- I want this to stop!

Direct TV.  Couldnt get a hold of anyone, went to a mailbox

When they called me they claimed they were calling from direct tv,
and then scheduled me with a bogus appointment, that no one has any record of at either the installation company or at direct tv.
I tried to call them to see why no one showed up for my appointment and got the recording.
Direct tv claims this company is actually "West Satellite".

Have started getting twice a day calls from this number on my cell phone. Just signed up for DirectTV and am guessing it is them calling, but they never leave a message.

Recieved 2 calls, 2 days apart. Hung up after one ring. No voice message. Go figure.

I signed up for Directv yesterday and this number has called 3 times today.  Annoying

signed up for direct tv and install done last night.. recieved my first phone call from this number 5 minutes ago..

The telephone number 1-866-693-5689 is a third party instillation department for DirecTV. They contact you to schedule your DirecTV Appointment if you dont not already have one & sometimes to verify one if you do. The use of a computer Dialer may cause more than 1 call per day but not exceeding the Legal Calling Procedures for any given state. Pretty much the only way to stop the calls is to either schedule or cancel your appointment. However, cancellations must be placed through a different department.

I recently signed up for DirecTv and they have called me 4 times everyday for the last week.  They never left a message initially...so I don't answer when they call now.  Ugh

I also just signed for DirecTV two days ago.   I didn't take either of the two calls they placed (just minutes apart) because I didn't recognize the number.   I hate to think that this calling continues even after the installation is done?

this # keeps calling at all hours,can not call back

We also signed up for DirectTV about 2 weeks ago and every day since the installation, we get this anoying call every day beginning around 3:30 pm.

Do not believe ANYTHING that you are told from this number.  I contacted Direct TV and they had NO RECORD of any such call..  Thisa must be some bogus group trying to hone in on DIRECT TV business.  They even sent a confirmatin email to me but Ditrect TV also had no knowledge or record of this.  Either this iwas a bogus call or Direct TV is totally incompetent.  Quite frankly in this era of identity theft this whole incident makes me nervous -

who is these people,the direct TV people do not,do not,do not know who these people.

Just calls and doesnt say anything or leave a message
