calls several times a week. never a person just dead air. I thought they were supposed to leave you alone if you were on the do not call list.

GOT A CALL FROM 866-733-5306.  KIDS WISH FOUNDATION.  TOLD CALLER I WAS ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER.  AFTER I HUNG UP THE PHONE I REPORTED THE # TO THE DO NOT CALL COMPLAINT FIELD ON THE DO NOT CALL WEBSITE.  WE SHALL SEE!

I now get more scam calls than I did before complaining to the donotcall  website and giving them my phone number!

Dead air, unfortunately, if it is kids wish, they can call as charities can still call you I believe, as well as political endorsements.

No one answered.  I'm sure they will call again!

GO TO THE SITE ABOVE. I BELIEVE THAT THE COMPANIES ARE TO BE FINED EACH AND EVERY TIME THAT THEY CALL THOSE OF US WHO ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
SO I REPORT THIS NUMBER AND OTHERS LIKE IT THAT CALL ME EVERY TIME.

Got a call today at 10:10 AM and answered it as I assumed it was my husband. (His cell rings in as Unknown Caller and he calls around 10 AM every day) A pleasant man'sI was annoyed because the jerk assumed I was so stupid that I would think we were buddies and give the creep some money. (In fairness, he probably assumed I was stupid because I answered the phone in the first place.) So irritating and I don't care how worthy the charity may be....I won't give them a dime because of this behavior. Down with telemarketers! voice said "Hey..It's Jamie. Is old Doug there?" (Doug being my husband's name) I said no, and could I take a message. It turns out to be the Childrens Miracle Network and I immediately hung up on them. Fund raising is one thing, but acting like an old friend to get money is another.

If it is a charity, the do not call list does NOT have any impact!
Same for political org. and businesses you have dealings with; so your phone cy. can call you about their internet deals.

I got this call today at Noon.  Just came up Toll Free Call.  Looks like people are saying it is a children's charity...I am on the DO NOT CALL list...plus I never answer 1-800 or 1-866 numbers...

Calls me daily, never leaves a message.  These people drive me nuts.  Is there a way to stop this that doesn't involve paying to have the call blocked?

Kids Wish Network - Just called here asking for my husband, left the machine to handle it. Suggest that those of us receiving calls from this number call them back or send them e-mails to complain. Their site says their contact info is: 727-937-3600 or at 888-918-9004. Their e-mail addresses are:

I was in the middle of taking on online exam when I recieved a call from this organization. I just committed to  donate 25 dollars to the breast cancer foundation earlier this week. I said I was unable to donate and asked to be taken off the list. She was very persistant and rude. She ended the call by asking that I pray for the children and said it was people like me that are the reason these children will be dead next year!

Once I told the lady I was not going to donate she asked me to at least pray for the children because thanks to people like me they will probably be dead in a year!!!!

Rec'd call from 866-733-5306 on 6/27/09. Caller gave a rapid delivery asking for a donation to CRS (Children's Resources Services.) I asked how she got my number, she said random dialing. I informed her I was on the do not call list. She said it did not apply to CRS since they were a 501 C 3. I asked her if she was getting paid by a company to make the calls, she said yes. She never identified the company she actually worked for. She did give me her name when asked, most likely not real. The DO NOT CALL LIST exemptions DOES NOT apply to companies who make a profit calling for charities. I am reporting them for several reasons: covered in the Q & A for the National Do Not Call List – 8-page document

Are CRS (Children's Resources Services, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Kids Wish Foundation all the same charity? I doubt it!
