- PC| 3 repliesI received a call from this number. Strange because I am on the donot call list. My membership on the list did not expire because I renewed it this past November. They asked if they could do a pizza taste test survey. It seems lately I am getting calls from telemarketers. It really sucks!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DonnaIt is a market Research company called Delve. The do phone interviewing and focus groups for which they pay you for your opinions.
Any 'personal' questions are for demographics & you may feel free to refuse to answer any of them.
They will need contact information from you in order to send payment.- Caller: Delve
- ToddYeah the company is Delve and they call me a lot. Usually it is from a local number though. It is always a good idea to answer these calls as they sometimes pay very well if you qualify. Only problem is sometimes you don't qualify and you just spent 10 minutes on the phone for nothing.
- Jo| 1 replyThey call and call, ring & ring and NEVER leave a voice message. Plus they call at night after 8 PM!
- Caller: 800 Service
- Annoyed| 1 replyThey called me and I have no clue how they got my number. Did they just call me randomly, as in guessing a random number? Or did someone give it to them? I don't have any cclue as they got it as I have never given out my number to anyone but friends and family in person.
If you could help me figure this out, I would be saved a lot of worrying. Thank you!- Caller: It sounded somethinglike Delnor or Delve
- JerThey called me about my cell phone service. They had wrong onfo about services, then when they found out I worked for the phone company the question and answer was over and they wanted to get off the phone.

Does your phone ring off the hook from unknown phone numbers? If so you may be entitled to get paid for your troubles. The do not call registry is not the way to get back at these fools that call you without your permission. The DNC rules do not give consumers a private right of action, but the Telephone Consumer Protection Act does The Telephone Consumer Protection Act allows you to sue telemarketers for various violations.
One of the best ways is to find out who is calling you is to use some of the reverse look-up services online, anywho.com is my favorite. Anywho will let you check for all different kind of numbers, however any of the reverse look up services work just fine. One of the things that telemarketers do to violate the TCPA is not providing you with their do not call rules. If you ask a telemarketer to stop calling you and to send a copy of their do not call rules and they don’t you have the ability to sue them. It is a fairly simple process and if you goto your local small claims court and ask them the procedures they are usually very helpful. This is just typical of cold calling spam by telemarketers. There are also some software available to make telemarketers stop calling you. Making telemarketers stop harassing you should be your first option.
I have personally settled with telemarketers for over $25,000 in the last twelve months, using the telephone consumer protection act. - ConnieThey called & said they were calling on behalf of Verizon for vcast and are paying for being about to track our vcast usage.
- Caller: Del
- CiaraThey dont sell anything they have your number if you or someone you know gives it to them and if they ask if you work for certain companies an you do your not eligible to do the study so they will end the call if you dont want calls just call before 9:30 central time and they will remove your name IT IS NOT A SCAM! of any sort they are real people that work for a real company their website is delve.com
- Tom replies to JoIt's ridiculous! Called me 3 times in 5 minutes and woke my son up, this was *after* I told the first person to put me on their do not call list!
- mik replies to AnnoyedOnly way they would call is if u gave them your number u can tell them to take you off of the list
- John| 1 replyCaller said they were calling to prequalify me for a survey about the Health Care Law. My perticipation would be compensated with a $100.00 payment to me. What a load of Bull... gave no info to them and just hung up. Sounded like a Pishing Attack to me.
- Call type: Survey
- JM replies to PCNot to worry: It's Delve Research. They are a research marketing company.
- Sarah replies to JohnIt's actually legit! No joke. It is market research/focus groups. I do them for more than just Delve. Focus Forward, Fieldwork Minneapolis, Leede Group, and Ascendancy Research.
They pay you money for very little work. They call to see if you qualify. I am contacted because I signed up as an interested participant, and typically that is the only reason they have your information. - AngieThis is a legitimate company. I was called and asked a few questions to prequalify for a wellness research study. I did the study at their office which took about 3 hours and got a visa gift card for $125! I am only posting this to help other people out. If you're looking to make a few extra $'s then you can. I used to ignore these calls until I did the first research and got paid! Now I have done two others and my second one paid $140 for a diaper research.
- Caller: Delve Research
- iH8 Telescum bagsIf Delve is, as is said in these listings, such a legit company, why do they fudge their caller ID for this number. "Dell" is not "Delve". Also, in the aggregate, they have wasted a couple of hours of our time with their so-called "qualifying" questions. I suggest they also do market research and statistics tallying/collection using the ruse that they will pay you if you qualify. They say they are screening respondents via phone interviewing. This initial so-called "qualifying" process can take half an hour to answer all the personal questions, each time they call... and do they call. They call even after after they've been told to include our number on they're DNC list. Crooked bunch of TeleScum Baggers. Don't trust 'em with any of your personal information.
- Caller: Delve (posing as Dell)
- Call type: Survey
- TODD replies to PCYou only get calls from Delve, a marketing research company, IF YOU SIGNED UP ON THEIR WEBSITE! They pay for your opinion on products. They do not cold call just anyone.
- LLKDon't believe they only call you if you signed up or gave them your number. They called me on a phone number that I am charged for each call I make or receive. You can understand I use it only for special calls and rarely give it to anyone other than closely controlled people. Even the people who have that number rarely call me on it (I average less than 3 received calls a month). Like many others, I do not appreciate any calls from anyone I didn't initiate contact with, and such telemarketers should not be able to call me when I am on the do not call list.
